But did u get the txt or email with the number?

You should call! Best time is in the morning at 8 am

good luck

I'm also in this situation...and just got off the phone with the Customer Support Center.  And, I am NOT pleased!

I spoke with the initial Customer Support Rep who was VERY friendly, and she couldn't find a Receipt Number for me, nor an A#.  In fact, she showed in her system, "No Application Pending."  She was very pleasant, and advised she was "escalating" my call to an Officer, and to hold the line.  I then spoke to an Officer (whom I'm assuming had a little more access to resources than the first level), and she did some additional research real quick, and also advised that she showed "No Application Pending".  She then recommended that I contact the Lockbox Support Team (via email).  I have done this, and am awaiting a response.  I will post as soon as I get their response.

I have also re-requested information from my Attorney when their check was cashed by USCIS.  This is a bit of a "trick question", as I'm trying to follow-up on the Attorney to see if they haven't exactly done what they assured me they did.  The Lockbox would've cashed their check by now....  Wonder what they actually sent in that USPS box...styrofoam nuts?!

I'll report back on anything as soon as I hear anything.  Wonder if my next call should be to the Texas Bar Association??????????????

They are probably backed up in the lockbox as USPS was closed for several days in Chicago because of cold. Imagine getting thousands of packages, then stopping for 2-3days and then ALL of them come at the same time.

Possibly, and hopefully.  But not necessarily.  Have heard of senders in February to the CLB already getting their Receipt #'s.  So...if it's a case of the cold-weather-backlog, I guess they're processing the new ones coming in, and will eventually get to the old ones...eventually?  Maybe...and hopefully, but I don't know.

Oy...the CLB auto-response to email inquiries state they may take as long as 15 BUSINESS days to reply.  Oh lordy!

As usual, some officers are working on the more recent ones, and some are working on the backlogged. Mine was delivered DURING that closure, but i got my confirmation 4days later via text and a little bit later 3 letters came in.

To add, mine still says "Fingerprint Fee's received" 8 days ago.. Sooooo... Meh, nothing we can do about it, can we?

Right...which is my point.  There's something 🐠 about this, and I'm not suspecting USCIS or the CLB...but the Attorney, actually.

Dang...must be nice.  Getting your notifications just 4 days after they received it.  And here we are...waiting and waiting and waiting...

How long did you wait for the biometrics appointment letter since receiving the NOA1 receipts?

My appointment notice is dated 01/11/2019, but our lawyer received it before I did. I think when I got it in the mail, it was around 2 weeks out.

I had previously asked my Attorney when the check was cashed, and her lame excuse was that she couldn't check their financials at that moment.  I call BS!

And I don't know...because I just have a hard time trusting people in general, and so I thought it would be best to use the services of an attorney.  I have recently submitted ANOTHER demand for information concerning when the check was cashed.  Surely, by now, she can tell me so.  Can't wait to hear their reply this time.

D*mn Attorneys!  ARGH!!

I'd give her a deadline by the end of the day to give you an answer. If USCIS doesn't have ANYTHING, Even using A#, i'd say your attorney didn't even send it out yet, and trying to find an excuse. Pay her/him a visit.

Yep...and then one has to wonder...what exactly was IN that package they sent to USCIS (since she provided me with a shipping label tracking number that WAS delivered to the CLB).  Someone else's case?!?!?

It's definitely time to pay them a visit...  I will say, they came with several references and decent results.  Maybe I'm just one they don't really care much about, since my case isn't a very complex one that they'll see $$$$$$ down-the-road on??

Thanks for your thoughts and feedback.  🙌

there might be a chance of case being held up in Lockbox, but if the check was cashed, they most definitely should have you in the system, as thats how they keep track of what you're paying for.? Even if you don't have Receipt number, they should be able to tell that it was received by lockbox. Pay him a visit, and i'd be verrrrrry upset and demanding lol

I had these results with "decent references".. Not specifically attorneys, but it was similar. Some people praised them, turned out down the road, i was tricked into paying for something that i specifically asked not to be included. Sooo.. Yeah, i trust only my own powers, unless it's something extremely difficult. USCIS isn't if you have no convictions, or overstays. Nothing with USCIS is. It's just time consuming, but anyone who can read and understand basic english can do it (NOT targeting anyone or saying one shouldn't get a lawyer. Its entirely up to the person). I did N400 myself, then i-129f and now AoS, AP, EAD. It was annoying, but lawyer wasn't needed as lawyer will ask you to provide all the info in those forms anyway, and all they'll do is sign that paper that they did it, and charge money.

True is true!  USCIS doesn't even show an application having been received.  Can't wait to see what the Attorney has to say about their check being cashed.  Can't wait!

From the phone interaction I had with USCIS today, I get the feeling they just want to get your app done and get on with the next.  Border interactions haven't always been so jovial, but I haven't had any issues threatening my status.  No arrests, no convictions, no nothing, especially with who I work for.  So, yeah, I probably wouldn't have had any issues, but knowing my luck....

This is the classic issue we're seeing with these lawyers and why many of us don't recommend them unless you got a complicated case
They don't actually offer anything valuable to the process.

In terms of your application, no lawyer should have sent such documents without USPS/UPS/FedEx tracking. which they should have. first step is confirmation that the package was delivered.
That's the peace of mind many need. So long as you know your package is delivered, how quickly you get notification isn't all that important (although the nerves get all of us. lol). Since USCIS keeps things in order received for the most part, you don't have to worry about losing your place in line. I'll say the weather the past few weeks has simply been AWFUL and definitely delaying things more than necessary

Oh you don't know my luck.. lol. If something MIGHT go wrong, it will and worst possible scenario.
Yeah, they just want to keep moving, especially when a lot of people are getting upset about processing times. They quicker they get thru them, the better.
Nothing you got there that might've made it difficult for you to DIY. But if attorney hasn't sent it out, you might still have time.
