Had my aos interview today in NYC. Went great! Less than an hour after the interview my status changed to card being produced 😃 officer really didn’t ask many questions at all. Didn’t really take anything other than my medical. He skimmed through 3 out of the almost 40 pictures I brought.

My husband and I did have to wait 3 hours after our scheduled time, but all in all everything went great and was smooth.

Hey!

As long as you filed AoS within a year of your medical - no need to get one in US.

Also, your medical should be marked as "complete" for it to be valid for AoS. So check your DS-3025 copy. If it's incomplete, then you'll need to get the remainder of the shots here, and have it transferred to I-693 by USCIS authorized physician.

Thanks @The_Empyrean ! Sorry late reply 😅

I finally got some news.

I got my new EAD (which I submitted a month ago).

I got a RFE (dated February 26, 2020) for my oversea medical exam and vaccination record (I entered the US as a K1). I'm kinda confused so I'm reading all I can about this before I pay for another medical exam. 😐

Hello family, I believe all of you are doing well.

I guess all of you have had your green card already. Probably I might be the last person in this group who is yet to get my green card interview scheduled.

After 629 days, I finally got an update on my case and It is ready to be scheduled for an interview.

Any tips to prepare me for the interview are welcome.

Thank you

Oh boy that's a long waiting time and I'm sorry to tell but ready to schedule is nowhere close to actually getting scheduled. Crossing my fingers that it will happen fast but hard to tell.

At least you'll get the ten year card and don't need to worry about ROC

I had my interview today between 1:30pm to 2:00pm mountain time.

My husband and I were allowed to go inside uscis 15 minutes to our interview time.

So the officer was a lady.

My husband was called first together with our immigration lawyer. After about 13 minutes later I was called to come in and my hubby was asked to leave the interview room.

The officer asked me to take an oath to tell the truth. After that the oath, she ask me to mention my legal name, asked of my DoB, my parents full name, where I was born, and when I arrived in US. Then, she went through the I-485 application questions (the yes and no questions) with me.

She asked if there are any redflags in my marriage.

Afterwards, she ask me to talk to her about my marriage life.

She asked where and when I met my hubby for the first time, asked if I have met my hubby's family members, places we have visited, which pet we have and its name, where we both work and how we go to work.

She later said she is going to do her reviews. But talk about 10 years green card since my marriage is over 2years.

So in all my interview went well and according to my immigration lawyer, he said the officer was looking for reasons to approve me. So i did well.

An update today says "New Card Is Being Produced"

I believe I am the last person on this platform to get my green card.

Congrats!

I'm afraid I'm probably the last one still waiting. Had my interview on May 2019 and no word yet. Have put it many inquiries but they all come back with the same answer, still under review. I tried calling them today and seems it's almost impossible to speak to a live representative. The menu seems to have changed. Any suggestions? Thx.
