Dear god please tell me I’m not hallucinating at this ungodly hour of the morning...and after such an explosive emotional beat-down that we experienced yesterday at our AoS interview...that THIS is what I think it is??!!??!!??!!??!!

We have done our interview on 13 nov.. and we have given all the proofs also.. but officers didn’t mention us about aproval..!! How long it will takes?

A couple of weeks. Majority within 2 weeks get a decision. Unless there are extra background checks, that they want to do. But it's K-1, if you did everything as they asked, within the timeframe. I'd say in 1-2weeks you should get your decision, and/or card.

We had our interview 11-12-19.  98% of the info they asked to bring was not even looked at or asked for.  It went fast and easy.  HOWEVER... we were notified they lost the medical records for K2 child.  We were now notified my wife will get her conditional green card and we need to do the medical all over again for K2.  It is not easy finding a doctor and their website listing doctors is not up to date.  Good luck to everyone.

Well, congratulations on the first part. And sucks about the medical. How do they lose them, is beyond me. Wish there was some way to keep all electronic records.. Like in some electronic server, or library... Oh right, it's 21st century, while USCIS is still stuck at stone age.

I mean, i understand that having everything electronic would pose a security threat, but dear god they lose a lot of important documents so often, that i think that is a bigger threat.

Good luck on Your medicals. Keep us posted on the progress.

Finally received notification that the Interview has been scheduled. However, they moved the interview from San Francisco to San Jose. I guess that article about USCIS moving cases to other offices to reduce load was true.  I personally like going to San Jose. It is a madhouse to drive in San Francisco.  Time to gather the documents.:D

Got approved.
The officer asked millions of questions.
where did you meet? How did you meet? When did you start dating? Where did he propose? Where does he work? What does he do? Your wives moms and dads full names. Her birthday? Did you go on the honeymoon? Did you have any trips together since marriage? Are you living with parents or renting? Does your wife work? Where? Whats the position?

then the usual questions from the package itself. Addresses, etc.
officer was polite but didnt seem very approachable. Barely a smile through whole interview. He said he needed to review the application, and we’ll hear back soon.
left the building, i kinda expected an approval, checked the app, and within 15mins it said “card is being produced”.
so yeah. Got scrutinized, but overall all went fine.

Congrats!

Yep...that might be the tell-tale sign: unapproachable, pleasant but never smiles; asks a million questions.  And alas, approval!

Congrats again.  Been nice joining you on this arduous journey!

Likewise! Thanks!
I'll still linger around here in case anyone needs any help with interviews and preparations!

Yeah i was concerned after the interview that he might ask for Original Birth Certificate and to comeback another time with it. But when i saw an approval it was such a relief!
