How long will it take from application received to visa issued

I had my interview on November 5th, and at the end, the OP returned my passport and a gave me a 221g form requesting more documents.

I send all the requested documents to the consulate and when I checked the status of the case it said Immigrant visa Administrative processing.

Yesterday I received an email from the consulate where they asked for my passport, I will deliver my passport personally next Monday.

When I check the status now it says Application received, and it changed from immigrant visa to non-immigrant visa.

Can anyone tell me what is going on now, and how much longer it will take before they issue my Visa?

Your answers are much appreciated,

This is a very good sign but how long it will take would only be a guessing game could be a week more could be two weeks. Be patient your visa is coming soon.

When the Embassy is ready to issue a visa, it will change to "Nonimmigrant Visa Application"; at that time, you will know that you are a few days away from getting the visa. It will go from "Immigrant Visa Application" to "Nonimmigrant Visa Application" status and then your visa changes to "Ready" ==> "Administrative Processing" ==>> "Issued" status as well. These steps sometimes transpire over a day or even a few days. Some smaller Embassy's it happens within hours.

Sometimes, it might skip "Administrative Processing" and go from "Ready" to "Issued".
