Dude, my memory has been going since February 2007 when I suffered a mTBI concussion from a roadside bomb that hit my vehicle. I am just here today because the stupid insurgent didn't wire it correctly..... I can submit the WikiLeaks article about it if you want. Since my former unit has no record of that deployment.

DoT is also paperwork heavy. (I wonder if its gotten worse?) Hubs has a govt card but rarely uses it due to the issues.  Except travel. He uses his travel card when he has to do training.

Whats with all the hate for Wal-mart?  I enjoy shopping at wall-mart. They almost always have self check out lanes and as a bonus you don't have a bunch of annoying employees coming up to you asking stupid questions. Just let me shop in peace.

We used our cards for work purposes literally for almost every purchase I made. I used it sparingly and my boss knew that if I spent money on it then I actually needed it. My coworker who was a remote employee out of Indio literally bought almost everything he could on it but alas he was the golden child. 

We also used that same Mastercard for travel purchases as well such as hotels, rental cards, plane tickets. So the only food we spent out of pocket was for food. I really don't like how the DOD does things because it's completely backwards.

since i had just discovered (or re-discovering Reddit after ages abandoning it for the reason it was sucking all of my available free time) just for the r/politics, can you share (or just DM/PM me) the reddit link?

 

r/politics , the majority of the users there disagree with the current administration and the shutdown so i would like to see some counter arguments (even r/asktrumpsupporters did not seem to provide any logical sounding arguments supporting whatever the current administration is doing).

I totally understand as well about it sucking up a lot of time up. Honestly I mostly stick with my local subforums on Reddit because it is more entertaining to me since according to a poster today a poster basically said  "everyone on the Right is basically just the same as the guy in Charlottesville who ran in to those people". 

 

Edit. I ended up having to make two reddit accounts because I got banned from the Immigration subforum for calling out the Mods about not doing their job in that subforum. So I went and created another profile to use during work(so it doesn't suck up all my time) and so I can post on the immigration forum.
