Walk into a Post Office you see the people working as slow as they can.

 

TSA people look like Wal Mart rejects

While I have commented that the TSA is nothing but a useless agency that is nothing but wasteful security theater, and that the attitude of those officers that I have encountered is extremely poor I would never compare them to what you see in our local Walmart, even on their worst day.

 

Similarly, while I routinely have issues with our local town post office employees who have severe problems with reading comprehension, dishonesty, and attitude - I have never seen them ''working slow as they can''. Other post offices I've been to in other towns are good experience and in general they are hardworking individuals that have a lot to deal with. In the city our mailmen are walking every single day into extremely dangerous areas to deliver mail every day. The Post Office is not a true fully government owned entity. And I can also vouch for the fact that other independent companies such as UPS and FedEx have employees in this town that are equally dishonest with poor work ethic.

I know you speak NB2. Anytime in the South a person says they are doing something that day, it will be "Today" If I said Tuesday and it was Monday it would be Tuesday week.

Kind of a broad generalized stereotype of all people that go in a walmart isnt it ?

Well I can't speak for what goes on in every Walmart. But in our local Walmart, what you will see cannot be unseen, so I would never personally compare that to the B'more TSA.

Unfortunately, you cannot avoid going inside the WallyWorld here. Did ya know they are putting independent blood test lab facilities (leasing out the space) inside now with bullet-proof glass and a keypad? If it's the only clinic to use, you got to go inside the building.

walmart is da debil. Our local Krogers have gone down hill in quality and service in order to compete.  Kroger had 2 lines open yesterday out of 24, not counting self service. Must have been 9 deep at every counter. You could not even walk across the front of the store

Walmart has tons of check out lines but they are never open.. they did open two massive self-service areas though. Most people hang around there. During Xmas they had 'shop with a cop' going on and a big PD display in the lot for the kids, and some guy walked right in and started loading a pallet cart with tires and tvs. Came outside to have 30 cops on him. Never been in a Kroger, don't think we have them.

 

Mom has to get her blood draw every month, can't avoid it really. The whole concept gives me pause though.

Same here as well. My wife and I would much rather go to a Target but the closest one in Fayetteville is 30 minutes away.

Target is about that far away here as well, and I like it, but I weirdly notice the place is never stocked. Like half the shelves are always empty.
