Interview notice, but wrong name on address section of letter

Hi:

 

We got our notice for I-485 and a date for our interview also. Now, USCIS send the notice to my wife and c/o (her dead fathers name). He was dead (2016) before we even met on the internet. He has never been in the US. He was not a USC either. Should I worry that this mistake is a big (removed) or just something minor?

This happened to another member on VJ.  When they spoke to a L2 about it, the L2 said this can occur when there are applicants with the same (first and last) name, so they put one of the parents' names on the letter to further distinguish between the two persons (for their own clerical purposes, I presume).

USCIS spelled my name wrong on my initial i-485 application receipts. I actually did not bother to correct them, since it was a minor error. Eventually they corrected it on their own. I guess sometimes they do make data entry errors...

I had the exact same thing, but I didn't bother talking to anyone about it, just chalked it up to a weird error. 

 

It was addressed to me, c/o my father who's been dead for well over a decade and has never set foot in the US. 

 

However, I guarantee that there is no one applying to USCIS with my exact name, so I don't know if it's to distinguish my notice from someone else's. Doubt it. 

 

At the end of the date, everything went smoothly and no one questioned it whatsoever

thanks all for the responses. Now, just prepare some more evidence. 

 

I was naturalized few years back, can i show just a copy of my Naturalization certificate or is my US passport good enough? I assume my other citizenship is of no interest right? I am the petitioner that is.
