It's a comprehensive list, however some items are overemphasized (like the travel part with passport copies, flight boarding passes etc.). Consider throwing less important parts of this info (like airport tax receipt - what would that proof?) out and replacing it with more valuable evidence like e.g. rental agreement or house deed in both names. Utility bills. Copy of both driver licenses showing same address)

Apart from that you have a good list.

Good luck!

I agree with Tweety. Overkill on the travel items. Can you add utility bills (gas, electric, garbage, etc)? cable bills, phone bills, cell phone bills, etc.

I'm not sure how I feel about the 10 letters either. I've never seen anyone with that many.

I work for Delta Airlines, so I have lots of travel stuff... Copies of 100 or more boarding passes that show us seating together. Airport tax receipts are to us with both our names on them.

I have no utility bills with both our names. I alreday have everything before she moved over here. I am doing drivers license copy today, but only hers, mine is from a different state, although valid it does not have my current address.

Thanks for all your feed back. I also found my 2004 tax return also I am added in there.

Ryan - if your DL is from a different state then your wife's, then leave this info out. Don't make a copy of just your wife's.

The thought of making the copies of both driver's licenses is to show the same address on both of them in order to proof shared residence. If you can't show the same address then don't submit it as it would in the worst case make them suspicious that something could be wrong, and with only one license it would hardly proof anything.

Hope this helps.

Good Idea tweety, DL's are out of packet now. Hopefully everything else should be sufficent evidence. If they want something else that will have to tell me what it is.. I really gathered all i could find to make this as seemless as possible.

You dont have anything on your list for rental aggrement or Deeds for your home..... I would include that... it has more weight than all the travel stuff... I have reciepts and boarding passes for all my business trips wich show I was sat next to my co-workers and we were booked on the same e-ticket.... but that does not prove I am married to my co-worker....

I own our home outright, there is no loan or rent docs that I could provide. The deed has never been changed, really no reason to except to have the doc for INS. Even if I died under Georgia law, the house goes to her since we are married. To tell you the truth, I have never thought about changing it. I found some dental visit records and insurance stuff to add also. All of this stuff is addressed to both of us at the same address.

Do you think I should explain in my cover letter the house is only in my name and the reason for it?

it is ok to include things that might just have her name and address on it and something else with just your name and the same address on it..... like her DL, it is ok if you don't include yours...

Ryan, please keep us updated on your wife's application. She will be the first (that has posted here) to apply for removal of condition after getting her GC without an interview. It would be interesting to see if you will be called for interview this time around.

I will keep you updated to see if we get the interview or not

I am going to go ahead and include her Geogia ID card copy, it is not a Drivers card just an ID card that shows home address, but is Gov't issued, with same expiration date as Conditional Green card, because that is as lond as they would make it valid for.

I also found Dental Insurance fillings online that I printed out

An extra letter explaining some things wouldn't hurt I think. My husband and I have 2 different addresses our correspondence comes to (our bills go to 2 different addresses and our drivers license has a different address than our apartment lease) and I thought it would be safe to add an extra letter explaining why. I put it as one of the bullet points on our cover sheet and sent it off like that. It never hurts to explain why you didn't include those documents in there, IMO.

I also only have about half of what is on that list. Personally I'm trying not to go too overboard because it just seems like you're trying too hard. Absolutely no offense to the original poster and everyone has their own circumstances and reasons, but 10 affidavits seems a bit overkill and I would be concerned that the USCIS might interpret it incorrectly. Probably won't be saying that when I get an RFE though! :crying:

After reading all of the guides and advice I decided to send:

Copy of resident card

Warranty Deed for our home

Two affidavits from friends

Copies of our federal and state tax returns for 2005 and 2006

Recent copy of our joint bank account

Copy of our joint car insurance policy

Recent copies of garbage/trash/water bill, energy bill and dental bill (some in both names, others not)

Copies of three Christmas cards and one postcard with both our names

Copies of our Sam's Club and Kohl's cards.

The bottom line is that if your marriage is real, then regardless of the circumstances or lack of evidence, you really shouldn't have too much to worry about.
