Well Im glad Im out of NO area now but just know that my thoughts are with you all still stuck there!

oh and yippee for the movement! that is a pretty big jump in timeframe!

all i have to say is "patience"

it took me forever till i got my interview, the officer said it took that long because of katrina...anyway, it was worth waiting because the woman that interviewed me was an angel....so for all of you going at the interview in NO - dont worry, its very easy :yes: she gave me a letter of approval and stamped my passport too, and i got my greencard with no mistakes very soon.

10/05/05 : checks cashed

10/05/05 : NOA 1 in the mail yehawwww !!!!!

11/29/05 : AP approoooooved !!!!!

03/06/06 : biometrics appointment

03/07/06 : touched

I'll be coming back to the U.S. next week with my Fiancee and Daughter. Plan to marry in June and submit AOS applications. I live between Baton Rouge and New Orleans and assume my case will be assigned to the New Orleans Office.

Looks like I will be in for a long wait if New Orleans is only processing May 2006.

Can someone please give me some info on the New Orleans office? I have looked around here on Visa Journey and know it must be here somewhere......but can't seem to find it.
