I just found this out yesterday.  There is a USCIS program designed for all active duty and retired veterans of all military branches.  It is USCIS Policy Memorandum PM-602-0091 Parole of Spouses and children, and family members.  I know a former Marine in El Paso, Texas that used this to bring his Ukrainian wife across the border and into Texas.  He flew his wife from Kiev to Cancun and drove her and himself up to Juarez, and they crossed at the CBP Juarez POE.  The Marine did have some problems because he did not pre-coordinate all the small details, but he was successful and he brought his wife across and into Texas.  After he brought her into Texas she was given a temporary 1 year visa and he did her I-130 Change of Status to get her green card, and the rest is history.  I want to make all active duty and all veterans aware of this program for military members.

Here is the USCIS policy memorandum:

Missileman,

So, what does your yellow arrow mean?  Does it mean it is no longer in effect?  Please post so that other VJ members can read it without having to take guesses about what it means.  The Marine used this in 2017 to cross at the El Paso POE.  Please advise.  Thanks.

Sounds "too good" to be true honestly. Perhaps he got lucky and the at the border they didn't know either and just allowed her to enter. Something not quite right about it and definately seems like a potentially messy situation to get into. Even as a veteran myself, don't think would ever bother to try that type of thing.

It means it was superseded by something else.

I am reading through this is and it seems that it's for people that were previously inadmissible and made them able to come to the USA, not just allow them entry in to the USA.

I posted this, so that other VJ veterans could read it and weigh in on what they know about this policy memorandum?  I just heard about this a few days ago, and if this is possible it might be worth asking some questions about it.  All feedback is much appreciated here at VJ.  Thanks in advance.

I am searching the policy manual which is accessed on USCIS site...........

I guess accurate information could be learned here:

"We have established a toll-free Military Help Line exclusively for members of the military and their families: 877-CIS-4MIL (877-247-4645), TTY (800) 877-8339."

"The US immigration process requires a great deal of knowledge, planning, time, patience, and a significant amount of money.  It is quite a journey!"

That normally refers to PiP, now theoretically anybody could be Paroled in to the US, the usual requirements are that it is for urgent humanitarian reasons and they do not have another option.

Exactly what happened in this case well would need to know more to sensibly comment.

“If you know the enemy and know yourself, you need not fear the result of a hundred battles. If you know yourself but not the enemy, for every victory gained you will also suffer a defeat. If you know neither the enemy nor yourself, you will succumb in every battle.”

Many times I have come across cases where a spouse has effectively moved to the US on a Tourist Visa and as a Military connect has been let in where you might otherwise have expected a return trip.

Parole is sort of a more complicated version, the more obvious similar route would be to visit using a NIV and stay.

Most PiP's are for those who marry illegals. And if memory serves me right other IR's.

“If you know the enemy and know yourself, you need not fear the result of a hundred battles. If you know yourself but not the enemy, for every victory gained you will also suffer a defeat. If you know neither the enemy nor yourself, you will succumb in every battle.”
