Yes. Data is transferred to the SAVE system almost instantly nowadays. I still say wait a couple days just in case, but most people should show up within 24 hours.

Do you happen to know if checking the following boxes on I-765 would affect this?   I'm thinking maybe since we checked "Yes", there is some sort of conflict with going direct to the SS office.

Shouldn't be an issue. The SSA would receive the request once the I-765 is approved. If an SSN is already issued, then they should see that and reject the new application (a few people have slipped through the cracks and got 2 SSNs incorrectly). If one was not issued yet, they will issue one at that point.
