I hope what happened to me didn't happen to you.  I submitted all three petitions (husband and 2 children). All 3 were approved, but only 2 were sent to NVC and the site reflected that.  My original notice of action date for all 3 was April 17th and they just sent petition to NVC on August 8th and they received it on August 15th.  If the site still says Case Pending, that may be the issue.  What I did is contacted NVC, but I had to wait 2 months before they sent a request to USCIS. Good luck to ya!

Hi @MzBrown, can I ask, if all three i130's were worked on at the same service centre? I'm going crazy as mine went to Texas and was approved through expedite and is now at NVC but our son's went to the NBC and despite same expedite request (both expedites sent to USCIS on December 11th) had not been worked on. We kept calling USCIS tier2's for updates from NBC and were told it was in expeditious processing since December 19th. Last call with tier2 officer on February 20th she said she would escalate but instead we received an update on case tracker saying they received an expedite request on February 20th and we should send supporting evidence (which we did on December 19th)

This is so frustrating that they separate families and treat the family members differently- all I want to do is cry really as all of this makes me feel so helpless 😭

Yes, all three went to the Potomac service center. It is not sneed frustrating. Now for my family, we have this ban to contend with. If they didn’t separate the petitions and we waited for the other to meet up (took 3 weeks months despite getting senator involved) they would be here already.

Good afternoon guys!!

so I haven’t updated my time line but great news my wife got her visa recently. But she did not receive any sealed documents for the immigration when you arrive to states you present it to them.
all she got was her passport and saying to pay for her immigration fee for her green card.

Also there is a annotation on her passport

212(g)(2)(b)

I googled it  and it said not needed at the moment?? I’m going off from what people wrote on the past.

anyway is this something I should call the embassy regarding about sealed envelope not being receive?

now we just have to pay the immigration fee which is for her green card. Before flying out to the states. Which it says on the paper we receive.

it’s been crazy and busy and I will update my timeline. so at least everyone that filed for January 2019 has a good idea what to expect at least from my own experience.

It will depend on whenever the embassy has interview slots open. First the embassy will inform NVC of what dates are available, then NVC will schedule the interview for you and once the interview is scheduled they will send your case to the embassy. Frankfurt is fairly quick I have heard

Maybe it's time to update my profile flag because I'm no longer the immigrant. I'm applying for my stepson who is in Nicaragua :) My file finally arrived at the NVC and I received the email to pay the fees. I haven't read the email thoroughly yet because I was in the hospital but I will sit down today and read through it and pay the fees. I don't know what documents I need yet. I know the affidavit of support but I don't have the written permission from his mom yet. I need to get on that to have it ready.

OK so last night I uploaded the last document and submitted them for the boy. Now I read that trump wants to halt all immigration. The situation in my son's country is dire and his father wanted him to come here as soon as possible. I understand that due to the virus we won't be getting an interview very soon. What can we do? Please advice. All the other megathreads seem to be closed and I don't know where else to ask.

Last night NVC rejected the birth certificate. It's the only one I have. Country is Nicaragua so what I did was scan the Spanish birth certificate with an English translation and made sure it was just 2 MB for the upload. But it was rejected. What could have been the reason? That's the only birth certificate I have. My husband said it expired and we need to get a new one. Anybody have this problem and can share insight?

You are asking questions in a topic related to I130, I suggest you to try your chance somewhere in a monthly NVC thread. Good luck!
