My husband had his oath ceremony today!  I can't believe we are at the end of this journey and I'm so relieved to have this weight lifted off of our shoulders finally.

We were at Tampa USCIS.  The ceremony was maybe an hour long.  USCIS did not ask what naturalization candidate we were there to support, they just had us go through a metal detector and go to the waiting area to sit.  I had our 3 year old with us and she did just fine.  There was a couple songs to sing to and some intermittent standing, so she was entertained.  I was not allowed to bring her snacks in for her.  If there's anything I didn't cover, just ask me!  I don't get a lot of my notifications for some reason but I will come back and check manually.

I129F SENT: 12-24-2013

TEXAS SERVICE CENTER

NOA1: 01-02-2014

NOA2: 05-14-2014

NVC received and assigned case #: 5-29-2014

Left NVC: 06-04-2014

Interview Scheduled: 6-24-2014 SO EXCITED!!!!!!!! :dancing::star:

My husband legally adopted his niece. (her father passed away 2016, mother passed away 2017 and she is the only child)

All the papers of the adoption came dated August 2018.

Now when I did my N400 online last January 2019. I forgot to include my husband's niece on the application as she is legally adopted. I only put my step son (husband's son).

Will it affect my N400 approval?
