After waiting 400+ days for our permanent green cards -- while checking two cell phone apps many times a day -- we learned it was best to discard the USCIS apps.  When we finally were notified of our Green Card approval, a text message alerted us a day before the two cell phone apps.

So, we are solemn here at our house.  My husband called me this morning on his way to work from the interview.  He said the questions were incredibly difficult and that he has to retake them.  I keep waiting for the "just kidding", but I haven't gotten it and it has been hours. 

 

Did anyone else not pass the test the first time?  :(

I thought so... because that so his MO.  However, he is quiet and seems down when I reach out to him. 

He studied using the USCIS questions.  (Clearly not well enough?)  He missed 5 and you can miss 4. The interviewer said he got a "really hard batch" of questions. 

 

A couple he missed...

Who was the president during WW1? He could only remember the president during WW2.

When was the constitution written? He could only remember the year.
