There are still a couple. Fingers are crossed that everybody get their approvals soon.

There are 117 Jan 2019 timelines without an NOA2 filled in on VJ, which is about half of them. Generally a month is pretty much "done" when around 70% have NOA2 (the remaining timelines without a NOA2 are almost all people who created a timeline and then never came back to update it, though there are also some very slow timelines, withdrawn petitions, and rejected petitions in there too). That's true from November 2018 and earlier now, and December is getting really close to there.

Hey Guys, based on timelines we should be getting our NOA2 very soon.

My fiance is here from the UK for a visit. Is it okay to give him the I-134 and dated supporting documents now from my bank and employer? Or should we wait and mail them to him later? Thank you!

Why not? If it ends up being a while until his interview for some reason, you can email him updated copies.

Hi all! We got our NOA1 on January 22nd, and received an RFE on April 22nd (proof we had met in the last two years, which we have several times). I know it's stupid, but it really upset me when we got the letter - I thought we had all our ducks in a row and was expecting our NOA2 instead.

It's really knocked my confidence. I'm incredibly anxious about how long our NOA2 will take now, and I'm paranoid they might request more evidence from us - I thought our first application contained enough proof, which it obviously didn't, so now I don't know what to think!

Best of luck to everyone.

Don't let it shake you up, one good thing is that you know with 100% certainty they are working your case. Should not be to long now you just have to pick your face up off the ground and keep on keeping on...you'll be fine and approved in no time.

This is a reoccurring theme from USCIS. Don't know why but many applicants get an RFE for more proof. In my understanding of what most have sent they should not have asked for more as what the included in the I-129f application was more then enough.

But, THEY HAVE THE GOLD AND THEY GET TO MAKE THE RULES.

So, what to do? Make copies of everything you sent the first time, add more items that can demonstrate that the two of you had met within the required timeline and you're good to go.  BTW, if your friends met him, letters from them can sometimes be good evidence. Any receipts with both your names will also show that you met. Any Credit Card charges or ATM withdrawals can also be another piece of evidence. Further explanation and examples of evidence can be found in this link.

Ok. Now pick yourself up and dust yourself off. This is such an easy fix.

Thank you for all the advice and info. Trying to stay positive -- I'm sure this will be the first hurdle of many!

What specific proof have you send to them before? Understand they are looking for dates. They tend to only set RFE once (there are some exceptions)

Got my NOA2 in the mail today with an approval date of 05-02-19! Can someone post the link to the May NOA2 group because I guess we'll be there now :) So much research to do on the next steps.

The notice came in the mail two hours before I drove my fiancé to the airport to return to England, so the timing was amazing :)

We sent: photos with dates indicated on them; passport stamps; flight itineries, as well as emails sent between us and birthday cards/Valentine's day cards and so forth.

For the RFE of meeting within the last two years, we found some more pictures of us with landmarks in them (one of our recent trips was to Disneyland, and we also had park entrance tickets with our names on them to go with the photos of us in front of the castle etc) as well of photos of us with each other's families. We also sent a few affidavits from family members, and screenshots of emails/WhatsApp chats we've had about our recent trips together.
