My understanding is that all I-129f petitions are processed in California...and that special cases get sent to Vermont [but I could be wrong about Vermont].

Yes mostly ALL I-129Fs are processed at CSC and yes the more difficult or the cases that need more attention (back ground checks) go to Vermont.

You would get a notice saying that your case has been transfered. But don't worry about things that haven't happened yet 😊

Ohhh. Means to say. All K1 application sent to California Service Center then, knock on the wood. If your case needs for attention and investigation. USCIS will notify you that they need to transfered your case at Vermont for more investigation? 😊😊😊

The PSA in the Philippines is notorious for misspellings and missing information on birth certificates. You should look over your BC to make sure everything is correct as well as your passport. Now is the time to get that corrected. You might want to get a copy of your NBI to see if there are any problems with it. Again, now is a better time to get it corrected if you find something wrong. Be sure to use all your AKA's when they do the search. Make sure your passport doesn't expire any time before a year from now as this is a long process and you could be running around getting a new one at the last minute. So get it renewed if it is expiring in 2019.

Also, there is a sub-forum for the Philippines here on VJ that you should be a part of. It's a good place to read what others are experiencing which will only prepare you for your interview.

Everything on my BC in the US is correct. My Fiancé in the Philippines is also correct. Her daughter is a K2 filing with us. She is currently working on getting her BC fixed. It showed her and her ex married when they had her but they never were. She has to go back to the court in a few weeks for the final hearing and then she should be issued a new BC by the PSA. and then she can get her daughters passport after that. But as far as the K2 I don't believe that has any affect on my petition as the US petitioner. Tell me if I am wrong but I believe that is true. I think it just takes filers from the Philippines longer to get approved. Maybe because its the country with the highest amount of petitions?

The Case Tracker app shows that a couple of petitions before and after my number with the same receive date got approved.

So it could happen anytime soon... or in a couple of weeks 😂😂

Lol we’re 86 days in! I feel ya!

But sure if anyones case were to be transferred they would have by this time? ( 90 days) in context of the current trend of approval timelines...

I feel you. My timeline says end of May and if it would happen by then it would be perfectly fine cause it's still way, way faster than what I expected but then you see those 90 day approvals and I'm like: f* you timeline, I want to be one of them  😂😂😂

I wouldnt bet on that since you never know when somebody is looking at your case. Just because some have been approved that quick there are a lot that haven't.
