Hi i’ve seen 2 January 2019 filers got approved yesterday in a group i joined in on facebook.  I don’t know if they are here too but im getting excited omg! Hoping to hear good news also this coming days😍😍...

Yea but they filed about Christmas. It was probably because of the holidays that they recieved their NOA1 in January.

We still have to be a bit more patient 😊

I filed before I came here and by that time I thought we wouldnt hear something before mid July. It was a nice suprise to find out about USCIS working faster and that we might get approved by May. Would be cool if it really works out like that.

According to Igor's list there are two January approvals one is an expedite and the other is non expedite of NOA1 1/03/19,  wow 92 days . Let's hope this HOT trend continues for January cases before it slows down.

My NOA2 estimate shows June 3.  I thought it would take much longer.  My fiancé planned a trip to visit me in July (we purchased airline tickets already).  Does anyone know whether fiancé can visit US after petition is approved but has not had the interview yet?

If you do not live in the USA and only have a NOA 2 and have not done the interview, You cannot come until your visa is issue from the embassy. He the US citizen can visit you whenever. If you attempt to come with out the visa be careful that’s can red flag

Your answer is not entirely true. If you had taken the time to read the post just above you would see that it is possible but there are some "warning signs" that the OP needs to be aware of. Be careful with your information but thanks for making an effort to help someone in need.

I am sure you are reading the information supplied by @Letspaintcookies which contains the experience of others. There have been others who have attempted to visit to the US while in a status of pursuing a visa. What they had in common was that they had a job and their employer provided them a letter indicating that they were aware the employee was visiting the states for such and such time and they expected them to return to work on such and such date. They owned property and there were a number of others items, of which I don't recall, that showed that they had enough "assets" that returning was in their best interest. This combined information was used without any problems. So the proof that you will return because of X,Y,Z factors will only help you. If you can produce these items then I would say go, but if you do not have them, then you may want to consider waiting. Keep in mind that your mileage may vary. Good luck.

Would love to hear back from you what you decided to do and if it was to the US what your experience was.

Hopefully some more good news for January filers- we got our NOA2 today! The website and app both weren't updated for us so it still says "received" but we got the NOA2 hard copy in the mail. Good luck everyone!
