Hello Vjers,

ok...so just saw that I had two e-mails sent from USCIS... (I originally had the petition transferred from VSC to CSC and had two touches on mya 14th and may 15th with no update since...) but the e-mail does not state anything significant:

I mean...wasn't it pending anyway?? has anyone else received an e-mail like this?? or is this the NOA1 from CSC?? And how much longer do you think it should be unitl approval?? does this pending status mean they are actually processing the case itself like working on it to come to a decision...or is this just normal...sory for rambling...lol :) take care everyone and hopefully I pray we hear something soon as well as everyone else!! :)

Hi,

I also received this e-mail today after getting the touches on 14th/15th May as well as receving an NOA thru the post for transfer on 11th May. Not sure what this means but hopefully an approval is coming soon. Is there anyone who has been approved after being transferred from VSC to CSC?

Hello,

Got the same email as you . The notice received when our cases got transfered from VSC to CSC was notificaiton of the actual transfer. The second email that you are questioning is CSC basically reiterating the same thing - that they will be processing the paper work and forwarding it to the NVC . Its is NOT a "NOA1" from CSC .That we already got from VSC with the receipt number.

Also on a brighter note CSC is processing applications from Nov 13 2006 at . It was Oct 13 2006 a week ago. :)

I-130

12/21/2006 - Got married

1/27/2007 - Sent I-130 package to VSC

1/30/2007 - Received by VSC

2/1/2007 - Received NOA1 in mail (if only everything in the process moved as fast as the noa1)

5/11/2007 -case transfered to CSC (received notification email)

5/17/2007 - Received hard-copy of notice of transfer to CSC in mail

6/7/2007 - Received NOA2 approval ( CRIS email recvd 6/8/07) FINALLY !!!

Got the dual receipt email as well. One was from the VSC shipping it out. The other was the CSC acknowledging the reception. At least that's my take on it. On another note, I got another touch today. I wonder if it's a real "processing the app touch" or more of an "administrative, filing your case somewhere touch".

I got it too. Must be pretty standard :) I'm just taking it to mean they didn't lose it. The truck with our petition in it didn't explode on the highway :P

A good sign!
