We just got our email with the case number. So received by NVC on 3rd Dec and case number issued on 25th Jan. finally!!

How long it takes to be received and mail notification from NVC?

They won't mail u or notify you when they receive it.  You have to call them and find out . Have your USCIS case # handy when u call.

you can only received it when NVC send it otherwise there is no other way or no short cut.

They do work on Saturdays. I had mine on a Saturday morning.
