In screenshot i can only see I-864EZ ,Income taxes for 2017,2016 and Paystubs ,I don't see any W2's here

Lawyers these days charge so much money and do very little and these cases are very straightforward ,you have every single information available online ,I always do it by myself .BTW I am may filer as well May 3rd ,you get your case number sooner others though ,seems like they have approved your file much faster

Yeah! He is trying to tell us that it was system error but I think CEAC is better than that and doesn't randomly override document uploads. Oh well! ! We've uploaded and verified the correct uploads so back on track but annoyed that we lost time. Right now the status says  "uploaded" so let's see how long it takes to complete the case. Not sure if this helps at all, but our visa status says "At NVC" . 🤷‍♂️

We started our process (IR1) back in May 2018 and are in the final stages of getting our case complete. Our lawyer doesn't have the best attention to detail and it has been frustrating working with him on our case. We got our case number from NVC on Dec 20 and all our paperwork was submitted by Jan 3rd. The issue is that while our DS260 and civil documents got accepted today, we got an INVALID DOC message from NVC on our AOS submission - it turns out Form I864 and 2017 W2 are missing from the submission and upon closer inspection, I JUST found out that our lawyer submitted the wrong file where the 864 had to be submitted. #facepalm

I've asked him to submit the correct forms and documents ASAP but does anyone here know how long would the process typically take for acceptance of resubmitted documents? We are a pivot case so everything is happening through CEAC.

Hi We have gone through the same situations where the lawyer only delayed our process rather than making things easy. My hubby even had a bad fight with the lawyer. He did not scan the civil docs in full layout such that the signatures and stamps of officials were cut off and could not be seen. Can we call them lawyers?!!! It seemed like he was scanning for the first time! And to think we are paying them to do the job more skillfully than us!

It delayed our case for a 6-7 weeks because of thanksgiving and christmas holidays. Hope u get a speedy CC.

We are going through the same thing.  Lawyer didn't see that the AOS for the co -sponsor was not dated.  NVC kicked it back on the 7th of Jan.  The lawyer was out of town until the 9th.  He dated and uploaded it and now we wait and wait.  The civil documents have been accepted. How long does it take to to check to see it has been dated?

I re-submitted documents on the 7th too. This waiting is painful.

Yea they takes 2 weeks to review ,if any document fails then you go back again into cycle for another 2 weeks .They put case again back into queue rather than giving them priority

Man that's another long wait. I can see why they do this but it still sucks. Shows that we need to take the time and submit documents correctly the first time.

I mean they shouldn't be doing this ,like waiting another 2 weeks for any rejected docs .They should have give them priority and put back in queue at first position once members submitted the corrected version but this is how they work,nothing we can do.

I feel you guys, I am too waiting again. Imagine we have submitted our documents dec 6 and gave us 2 RFEs. one last Dec 18 and last Jan 14. I mean why cant they just tell us what they need. The last time i checked everything was accepted and they just need one additional document which is from the IRS which we cant access 😞 it is frustrating. more than a month waiting for just case complete.

I needed my tax transcripts IRS was closed. IRS website is working now, is that what you need?

Hi all,

We are Electronic Processing Only case, and we submitted all documents online on January 11th. From everyone’s comments and experiences, it looks like it would take nvc 2-3 weeks to review documents??

Does the current government shutdown affect the processing time? Thanks in advance!
