Can you please tell me which are all the forms W2 since you have send them right?

Hi, yes they accepted our W2. But I am not sure which one because we hired an agent to help us with all the filing. I'll see if I can check what W2 that is. Btw I have a joint sponsor so its not my husband's documents we are submitting.

Hi, I am not sure about the documents but i think what our agent/lawyer submitted was W2 (the one that the employer gives you) and the Tax return 1040. But I think it should be IRS tax return form 1040 (which i think is the long form)  I am not sure about this though. Maybe you can email NVC and ask them too. Or anyone else that can help with this matter. 😊

What questions did they make during the interview??

Where did you meet?

How/ why did you decide to get married?

When was the last time you've seen each other in person?

Hi all,

New to this forum! Hope everyone is doing well. I have to say, the wealth of knowledge and support on these threads is incomparable.

We started our process (IR1) back in May 2018 and are in the final stages of getting our case complete. Our lawyer doesn't have the best attention to detail and it has been frustrating working with him on our case. We got our case number from NVC on Dec 20 and all our paperwork was submitted by Jan 3rd. The issue is that while our DS260 and civil documents got accepted today, we got an INVALID DOC message from NVC on our AOS submission - it turns out Form I864 and 2017 W2 are missing from the submission and upon closer inspection, I JUST found out that our lawyer submitted the wrong file where the 864 had to be submitted. #facepalm

I've asked him to submit the correct forms and documents ASAP but does anyone here know how long would the process typically take for acceptance of resubmitted documents? We are a pivot case so everything is happening through CEAC.

Thanks in advance and good luck to all :)

Finally got case number yesterday!

NVC Received: November 21st, 2018

Case Number Received: January 14th, 2019

Even though, I had an email on file, I did not receive the case number on email, I had to call them to get it. Somehow the email didn't get sent, not sure why, still no email.

I am so happy, 7 weeks and 5 days!!

Lawyers these days charge so much money and do very little and these cases are very straightforward ,you have every single information available online ,I always do it by myself .BTW I am may filer as well May 3rd ,you get your case number sooner others though ,seems like they have approved your file much faster
