90 Day Time to Submit Question

My wife's Green Card expires at the end of the April.  The instructions say to submit the paper work 90 days before the GC expires so that would put it at the end of January.  Question:  Do I have to submit the paperwork EXACTLY 90 days before or does it just have to be within those 90 days? If I don't submit it till the end February, will we be OK?  I'm asking because I have to save up the $ for the wonderful filing fee.  Thanks for any answers.

Does she have a 2 year or 10 year GC?

 

Sorry, I checked your timeline and it appears you are getting ready to file the Removal of Conditions form I751.  In that case, you can file anytime within the 90 day window, do not file it prior to the 90 day window.
