I was issued the K1 visa in July 2006.

For status, I put "K-1 visa holder" and for the expiry date, put the expiration date on your I-94.

You don't have to do your AOS within the 90 days of your I-94.

The K1 visa has a 6 months validity..so i can put K1 for status inspite of the validity being over??

Thanks for the prompt reply anyways..

Yes you put K-1, even if you're out of status.

Here's an example form for 1-485
