Week 5, still waiting...

We are waiting over 4 weeks now since embassy interview April 17, paid for delivery while at the embassy, they said they will review the case, and to just wait. We're wondering if we should call to check, even though it's not free to check. They wouldn't be waiting for someone to call and check would they?? That sounds crazy...

Week 5?! I'd be on the phone with them weekly. But that's just me and I'm inpatient.

Also, I don't know if you filed K1 or K3, so please update your timeline

It sounds to me that you are on A/P ( Administrative Processing) If they told you that had to review it. If that is the case then that could take some time. But yes i would email the Embassy to ask them what is going on they will let you know if your case is on A/P . My fiance is from Cairo which is a high fraud Embassy so of course there after the interview all cases go on A/P. He paid DHL in advance for the delivery of his visa too once he gets it and he has not got his visa yet because of A/P. So If i were you i would email the Embassy to see what's going on. I hope you get the visa soon!! I wish you all the best on the rest of your process!!!

Hi its better if your hubby will call to consular office +6325286300 ext. 5184 look for lorrine if more information if your hubby will call to that number... we put on AR for 4 weeks and we keep following every once aweek to update our case..there's no problem if you inquire of what's going to your paper..and it can help to make you feel better..

We had the same interview and i was on AR too but my visa was releaseed last May 11. All I can say to you is keep calling until they get tired. My fiance used to called the embassy twice a week and called the DOS to check the case. We never ask help for senators/congressman. Better call DOS instead of the embassy. Ask the DOS what date your petition was last updated...that way you will know that they are actively working on your case.

Stay positive .... I know you will have ur visa soon.
