Timeline

Yeah it's a huge bummer.  The winter has us down to begin with, and seeing that TSC seems to have slowed to a halt and that there's no end in sight for this segment of the process is just a drag.  I'm fortunate that I get to see my wife and stepson often but I want it to be daily and not have to try to explain to the little guy that I'm going to work and won't be around for a while... again.  :(

Any latest approval for Texas SC CR1? I have been watching the processing time everyday and everyday the date changes too. It was Sept 5, 2018 yesterday now it is September 6, 2018.

 

Btw here is my timeline:

NOA 1: December 28, 2018

NOA 2: Waiting

Hi, Texas is approving August & September, there is usually a thread by month so you can communicate with people who applied in December too.

Mine was expedited PD 09OCT2018. At NVC stage now.

Timeline

Filed July 2018, approved Dec. 21, 2018, NVC received Jan. 22, 2019, case number took 8 or 9 weeks to get case number, submotted everything and paid fees April 10th, on April 18th we resubmitted 3 docs that were uploaded sideways, got Case Complete on May 3rd, still waiting on an interview date

Texas updated their processing times again, 8-10.5 months with an inquiry date of July 29th. 

At least LPR processing times are now 13-16.5 months, I know that them being quicker than USC processing times is something that a lot of people here (including myself) never understood. 

I am not a lawyer and nothing I say is or should be taken as legal advice.

Escalated Case Inquiry: August 6th 2019 - tier 2 found that internal status was "in background check" despite results coming back 4 months prior.

Escalated Case Inquiry Response: August 7th 2019 - case was "delayed" because they had to "perform additional review" 🙄 case now with an officer.

Good thing is when taking another look it’s moving fast from the date is pushed back too :) so I am gonna go ahead and be optimistic again :)

I had a hard time wrapping my head around that too. Someone did explain once that their petitions were being approved quicker yet the rest of the process took longer for LPR in the long run.

I see a lot... we did just receive and RFE for “intial” evidence and we are trying to wrap are heads around what they want since we submitted every they ask to a T when it was sent in. So now we are waiting for the letter they sent.
