Additional review is one of the most generic things they can tell you, so I only know what it means in the context of my own case. We don't have our NOA2 yet so no but now that our case is actually with an officer I feel good that we should be hearing something (either approval or RFE) in the next few weeks.

If you didn't get NOA2 yet, how we can know that our case is with officer right now... As you told... Can you please explain me??

Hey all Texas filers. Would you guys say this is the quickest service center for spousal i-130s? Looks like it to me.

It took us  from NOA1 to NOA2 7 months ~ two weeks with Texas, plus another 12 weeks because they did not send it to NVC until we called and inquired with USCIS. Ours could be an outlier case, though. So,   after around 6 weeks, if the file isn't received by NVC. I would personally suggest calling USCIS before putting more requests with NVC through phone or e-mail.

No,  not really. I suggested waiting around 6 weeks at the very least. Your call, of course.

Woah. That's super fast. Do they just have less workload to manage or something? or do they just manage spousal visas?

I think Potomac only processes USC 1-130 requests and not the LPR requests like all the other Service Centers.  I wish there was a rationale behind where they assign your case as I live within 30 minutes of the Potomac Service Center and my case went to Texas.

Ah. Yeah. My petitioner lives close to the TSC and I would honestly be okay with that, some of these service centers seem a lot slower than TSC.

Case filed:11 april 2017

NoA:may 2017

Now just checked my case status it shows "we hve sent u a notice abt how we proceed ur case asking some materials" ..is anybody have an idea what will they ask to provide means further documents..and how much time will it take to get my interview date, its already been 2 and half years..

I am not sure of your exact question, but if that is the notification that you see on USCIS after you filed, I think that is the standard notification.  When I submitted my husband's petition I did include a few photos of us.  If you are referencing a notice received after the NOA2 then here is the link that should help you with NVC.

They may be requesting evidence.  I am not an expert but if you filed in 2017, a lot of times they are looking to see if your marriage is considered legitimate.  For example, if you haven't seen your spouse in over 2 years and so forth.  I would be prepared for just about anything.

The only Service Center that is not is PSC. I think in June it was another service center that was quick as well.  Now I am just impatiently waiting for my petition to be finished.

I think this is the biggest issue for me at the moment.  I do not even think that Potomac is considered when you send your paperwork to the Lockbox Facility.

By the way, which part of Turkey?  I lived there for 3 years and I used to be pretty decent with speaking Turkish, but now not at all due to lack of practice.
