This is an email, not a letter right?  You'll get these periodically even after your visa is issued/married etc. Dont sweat them.

Here is what is coming up once your file reaches USEM. You can start gathering the documents and you can complete the DS-160 if you would like. Hank's website is chalked full of information that is laid out in such a way that you'll follow each of his steps. Link is below.

Also, there is a sub-forum for the Philippines here on VJ that you should be a part of. It's a good place to read what others are experiencing which will only prepare you for your interview.

Manila US Embassy states that a scanned copy of the signed I-134 is fine, if you don't have the original.

It’ was a letter so timeline below

checked USCIS website 1/9 that I was approved back on 1/7

Jan 15 - rcvd the hard copy of NOA2

Jan 30 - called NVC for my case number, recieved by case number but was advised it had to be returned to USCIS they couldn’t tell me why

JAN 31 (morning) - I called USCIS was transferred to a tier 2 and was advice within 2 weeks I’ll get an answer

Jan 31 (afternoon) - Called NVC and was told it was being returned due to an incorrect stamp

Feb 11 received the case number and all the information about which embassy along with the invoice number (does getting this email confirm everything is ok??)

Feb 14 - I got the mail from my inquiry with the tier 2 from Jan 31

i guess my question is since I got the email from NVC and their website shows (AT NVC) do I just wait it out? What threw me off of my timeline is when NVC said it was returned 1/30 to USCIS because of an incorrect stamp

Thanks for the additional information! Saved them @Greenbaum

Will do!  NVC is going to hate me.  Been calling like everyday.

They either do not know some things or lie because I have called every day this week and it has not been there according to them. Now it apparently showed up an hour ago and has a case number. Just keep calling. And you can check here. Mine says "AT NVC"

https://ceac.state.gov/ceacstattracker/status.aspx

I also called the 0888 number.

Ok. I guess all we can do is the DS-160 right now until it is at the embassy and CEAC says "READY"

I did the DS-160 and paid the visa fee. I don't know about your embassy, but in Moscow, you can't schedule an interview before receiving a letter from them.

Good afternoon,

I got the instructions from embassy.... But there are some questions that are still not clear for me:

1. Do I need my fiance's (the petitioner in US) birth certificate for the inerview?

2. Do I need to bring my fiance's (petitioner in US) passport size pictures to my interview?

3. We have a co-sponsor/joint sponsor. Do I need her birth certicate for the interview?

Thank you

She said that there is nothing that we can do yet until we get instructions.

To my understanding, we can do the DS-160, appointment for medical, and appointment for interview. Everything

Which is correct? @Greenbaum @John & Rose

Congrats CLW.  We finished the DS-160, and are making the payment tomorrow.   She will wait on medical until we get Packet 4 since it only takes a day or two, but she thinks she needs the interview letter to get the medical.      But go for it on the DS160 and payment.

According to our Packet 3 instructions, none of this is needed.   Of course, my fiancee has all this (except we dont' have co sponsor) since I sent her a copy of the i-129f with attachments.  But would not make a lot of sense to require those things since you are the visa applicant.   The only petitioner docs they want in Bangkok are previous marraige/divorce docs.

1. It's not required but I'm sending one anyway, to be on the safe side.

2. No, none of the petitioner are usually needed, but you may want to check your embassy's P3.

3. Yes, I've seen that be required for co-sponsors.

Just a side note..........the I-129F does not necessarily require the birth cert.   I hate that doc as it's a primary identity theft document.   So I used my passport, and my Global Entry card....the Global Entry just to show I've been vetted by Homeland Sec.   Additionally Marcela, Embassy should already have Petitioner identity info on the i-129.  I have no idea on co-sponsor issues.
