Also, there is a sub-forum for the Philippines here on VJ that you should be a part of. It's a good place to read what others are experiencing which will only prepare you for your interview.

Manila US Embassy states that a scanned copy of the signed I-134 is fine, if you don't have the original.

@Greenbaum

You had asked for an update for the wet signature requirment at the Beirut Embassy. My friend emailed them since her interview is next week and they responded today saying copies of it are fine as long as it's a wet signature on the original. 😃

Hey just on the photo thing - did you scan in photos you had taken? I needed to increase the resolution when I scanned my photos I got taken in a photo booth. First time I scanned them in they were too pixelated when I uploaded and it said “head size or position relative to image dimensions may be incorrect”. Not descriptive to the actual error which was the quality.  Anyway if you don’t have an image when submitting the form it just prompts you to bring one to your interview.

So I did like you did, scanned my photo and eventually when uploading it looked good! But now I have another problem, I can't continue reviewing my application because I have this error. When I upload a photo it passes their criteria and the file size is good, it even shows it. But my next steps are blocked and when I relogin I get this :D Do you know how to fix it?

Yeah it’s definitely worth a shot just scanning the physical copy in to see. But I wouldn’t stress too much if it doesn’t work. You just won’t have a photo on your ds 160 confirmation page which you take to the interview but they request you to bring visa photos anyway so you should be good with what you have. Good luck!

I did this and it worked for me...

Finally done...

Called this morning.. NVC finally received our application.  No case number yet, but at least we got news it moved somewhere! 😄

Nice!!! Did you speak with just tier1 or tier 2? If tier 2 how did you ask to speak to them...

And congratulations @chs_! Which did you speak with?

Btw, it's probably a silly question but did you have any problems with photograph on DS-160? I did a photo precisely for that and it matches all criteria but when I uploaded it the quality of it was so bad, it's partly pixelated/blurry. Is it the website's compression tool? Because my original image is good quality and big enough 🤔

I took a selfie against a white wall and it worked perfectly once I cropped it.

I got our case number! She said that they just assigned it an hour ago.

Call them again @Spotify

She said that there is nothing that we can do yet until we get instructions.

To my understanding, we can do the DS-160, appointment for medical, and appointment for interview. Everything

Which is correct? @Greenbaum @John & Rose
