Do you think the holiday on Monday gives those of us who received a case number toward the end of this week less of a chance to make the shipment because it's one day less to process whatever they process?  I've looked through people's timelines for previous shipment dates and it looks like case #s assigned the Thursday before tend to sometimes get shipped, sometimes not, and the Friday before tend to miss the shipment more often.  I think there is really no rhyme or reason, but thought maybe someone may have insight or wisdom.

...And yes, I'm trying to be patient and relaxed. Having number knowledge is what calms me  (I *love* @DanielPlainview's statistics)

I think you state what we have seen very factually. Up to Thursday a good change Friday or beyond your looking at the shipment after this one. :thumbs:BTW it wasn't be who advised you to be patient and relaxed. :D

No need to call NVC if you have case number. I don't know why ppl tell you to call when that is not the answer!! Your case will ship out next Tuesday/Wednesday. See the first page of this thread and read the first post. I give you all the information you need.

When file ships you will see these three stages on CEAC. You'll have three stages 1) transit - shipment is in the air or soon will be, 2) received - physical case file is at the Embassy and 3) ready - your case is ready to schedule and complete your interview.  Everyone goes through this so it is normal.

That’s why I was sooo confused because I was told by NVC back in Jan 30 (the day i first called and got my case number over the phone) when I asked the status they said they have to return it to USCIS because of an incorrect stamp. But then I got a case number also emailed to me Monday, 2/11

Case# MNL**********

your priority date : Aug 9

Well Happy Valentines Day to us !!!     I called NVC this morning, nada..........just got an email with the NVC case number......seems we might have skipped right from no notice to case number.  LOL.     Thanks for the ray of hope for 20th Greenbaum !!!   Gotta go get that timeline updated.

Oh, side note.............this email was a response to an inquiry I sent them last Saturday.   Just to be clear, it was not solely related to the fact that they had my email on file.

Yayyyyyyy congrats, when is it our turn? : ))

I think next week will probably see a finishing of NOA2 dates between the 14th to the 18th and a push into the 21st through 25th.

There are 32 NOA2s from Jan 17-19, 8 now have NVC case numbers.  So it's up to 25%.   Greenbaum says Friday is a good day for NVC receipts, so here's hoping Spotify sees some good info tomorrow and gets on the Feb 19-20 mailing.

Also, looks like the majority of the applications rec'd prior to the mailing date were included in the mailing.   For example, some even rec'd as late as Feb 4 made the Feb 5 mailing.   66% of those rec'd before the mailing, made it.   Of the other 34%, appears about half really didn't make it, and the other half are people not updating their timeline.

Yea I wouldn't doubt by the end of the weekend the number goes up. It just takes some people a couple days to update their timelines.  I watched it happen every weekend with NOA2s.

Even though I know I still have a couple weeks, Ive been watching timelines daily. I just like watching them slowly clear all you January guys out. 😁

Oh, daim..........I thought you were a January guy.   Feb 6, eh?     Yeah, your sphincter will tighten a few times, but you'll eventually make March 5.

this is why i am not even sweating it until after next week. I am estimating getting the nvc email on the 22nd with the case number being assigned on the 26-27th, ship to consulate on the 4th, arrival by the 7th, ready status maybe on the 14th. and by that time hopefully Tali's boss will let her have some time off so we can do her DS 160 and for me to email the AoS and tax returns etc and she can schedule the medical and interview by end of March or mid April with approval near end of April for a flight here in May or June, depending on how fast she can get her affairs in order and have her daughter set up with everything she needs

RoC sent 10/30/21

NOA 11/16/21

Check Cashed 11/18/21

Biometrics Waived 01/19/2022

I'm hoping so, but we'll see. literally nothing in this process, from start to finish, has went right for us. maybe fate will make it up to us and we'll be one of those couples that gets super lucky and gets to NVC in less than two weeks so we can easily make the cutoff for the 5th.

wow, I like your detailed plan there.  Sounds just like what I've got mapped out....targeting an April 7 approval here.   Just to compress things, you know you can do the DS-160 now, right?  We've completed the DS-160....which she did initially, then saved, then I logged on to review.   Today, the DS -160 will be submitted, the GSS will be completed, and the fee will be paid.....which completes Packet 3.  I sent the I-134  couple of weeks ago.  As soon as we get "Ready" status, the completed Packet 3 is mailed to embassy.   In Bangkok, they select the interview date.

Yea, I'm not even trying to estimate dates until our packet gets to NVC, but after that everything seems to go pretty smooth. The Embassy in Kyiv seems to get packets ready quick and it's easy to get appointments.

Just a heads up, police records can be done at any time and medical can be done as soon as you have your NVC number, so you might as well get those knocked out as soon as possible. The police records can take a while to get, up to 30 days in Ukraine.
