I think so too.. I think I need to quit thinking too hard about it. I am probably giving her more than what is needed as is.

But yes, after reading this again, I think that is for if you can not show enough evidence of support in other ways.

@John & Rose

Just do the financials that are asked for in the P3 with the exception of now producing a tax transcript. USEM, after 2-3 years of not asking for financials are back asking for them and have added the tax transcript but I have always professed that the tax transcript was better then the 1040.

EVIDENCE OF SUPPORT. You should be able to demonstrate that you will not become a public charge or be a burden on the U.S. taxpayers for financial support. A completed I-134 Affidavit of Support Form (https://www.uscis.gov/i-134) K1/K2 Interview Preparation Instructions – English (February 2014)  Page 3 of 9 with an original signature will be useful to the consular officer to evaluate your petitioner’s ability to be financially responsible for you. You should also submit your petitioner’s most recent U.S. Federal income tax return (Form 1040) and wage statements (Form W-2). Employment letters stating salaries and bank statements may be included to substantiate the I-134. Get the IRS transcript in place of the actual 1040 here: https://www.irs.gov/Individuals/Get-Transcript Use this link to determine the income levels needed https://www.uscis.gov/i-864p.

Yeah, I'm retired Army (Combat Medic) and I front loaded my DD 214 and other military stuff and it didn't help my case whatsoever, lol

Yea, I'm active duty Special Operations with yearly deployments, didn't help me one bit. Provided everything under the sun to attempt an expedite and was denied 3 times. Finally was told by USCIS that they aren't expediting for deployents anymore and to stop trying. Unless it directly affects DoD (not just the soldier and their family) expedites will not be granted. Even with a Colonel's signature on a memo specifically stating the exact words they wanted to hear, it was still denied. 🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️

Yep, you live right.    I thought I did well on NOA2, and you bested me by a couple of days, then completely cleaned my clock on the NVC receipt.     You have a great shot at the Feb 19 embassy mailing...best of luck !!!

Call first thing... the moment they open. The person that you get will try to help you but when they can’t or don’t seem to get you the answers, thank them for their help and ask if you can speak to a tier 2. They will escalate it then. First thing in the morning, you should be able to get straight through to a tier 2. Or you may have to leave a call back number. It only took me 4 minutes to get a call back. Be as nice as you can be. Stay calm. The tier 2’s have been so nice when I talk to them, and have been insanely helpful.

I will do that first thing tomorrow. Thanks!!

Relax. You case file is moving along at a normal speed. You are going to be fine.  There are a lot of approvals on Friday's so maybe tomorrow will be your day.

In the mean time the PSA in the Philippines is notorious for misspellings and missing information on birth certificates. You should look over your BC to make sure everything is correct as well as your passport. Now is the time to get that corrected. You might want to get a copy of your NBI to see if there are any problems with it. Again, now is a better time to get it corrected if you find something wrong. Be sure to use all your AKA's when they do the search. Make sure your passport doesn't expire any time before a year from now as this is a long process and you could be running around getting a new one at the last minute. So get it renewed if it is expiring in 2019.

Also, there is a sub-forum for the Philippines here on VJ that you should be a part of. It's a good place to read what others are experiencing which will only prepare you for your interview.

 My fiance (the beneficiary) has moved since we filed the I-129F,.Obviously she will put her up to date address on the DS-160. But once the embassy receives our case, do I need to call them and tell them to update the address? Or do I not need to do anything in regards to her new address?

found this on my USCIS account.

If you move, go to www.uscis.gov/addresschange to give us your new mailing address.

I spoke with USCIS and got approved for my expedite. All I needed was a MFR from my Commanding Officer. Faxed it and was approved quickly. Let me know if you need any help.

I provided a MFR from my group commander and deployment orders and was still refused. it apparently kept getting routed to the same guy, cause I tried three times, got rejected all three times, and after the third time he sent me an email written in plain word saying that no matter how many times I submitted it he simply was not going to approve it because her not coming here before my deployment was not truly a DoD problem, it was an us problem, and if it was going to cause an issue then I needed to cancel my petition and resubmit it once I returned from deployment. After that I emailed my congressman, but it took months for him to respond (well it wasn't even him, was just someone on his behalf) and by that time it wasn't even worth pursuing expedite anymore. we have our NOA2 now, so no issue. The issue is gonna arise once she's here and I'm not and it's time for AOS, but I guess thats a future problem to deal with....

No need to call NVC if you have case number. I don't know why ppl tell you to call when that is not the answer!! Your case will ship out next Tuesday/Wednesday. See the first page of this thread and read the first post. I give you all the information you need.

When file ships you will see these three stages on CEAC. You'll have three stages 1) transit - shipment is in the air or soon will be, 2) received - physical case file is at the Embassy and 3) ready - your case is ready to schedule and complete your interview.  Everyone goes through this so it is normal.
