Finally got our case number today! (it took 28 days from NOA-2 date). What a great Valentine's gift :D Now I'm just keeping fingers crossed for it to be shipped to Moscow next week.

Congrats !!     You just increased the NVC receipt average from 18% to 21.9% for those of us with NOA2 of 1-17 to 1-19.

28 days and counting..............no NVC receipt as of noon today.

Each embassy is different. Some have the P3 posted on their website. Some require you to complete the DS-160 and return it before they will send you the P3 and others you have to return everything in the P3 before they will allow you to schedule the interview. I have an advanced copy of the P3 and I'll share it with you.

So i've got another question about the supporting evidence that we attach along with the I-134 form.

image.png.579465da6e722215cfd3d3874f4b6adc.png

Does Item 2 from the above list mean that we need to present each deposit from each month? or just the total amount in general for the past year?

Where is this on the I-134 @Greenbaum? I do not remember seeing this

Wow. I completely missed that. I assumed a statement from my employer, 1040, W2, tax transcripts, and 4-8 recent paystubs would be enough lol

It should be. The Supporting Evidence section says "any of the documents listed" and that's one of the listed, but not the only one. Tax return and employment letter is also mentioned so you should be good.

I think so too.. I think I need to quit thinking too hard about it. I am probably giving her more than what is needed as is.

But yes, after reading this again, I think that is for if you can not show enough evidence of support in other ways.

@John & Rose

We only had our full 1040 with W2.  According to this, the 1040 is only acceptable for self-employed.  This all seems strange to me as all I have ever seen has been 1040s and now the addition of transcripts.

PHILIPPINES ONLY!!!  CFO (Commission on Filipinos Overseas) INFO - Can't leave home without it!

USEM is beginning again to ask for financials so be prepared to submit was is on the website and in the P3. If it is not in the P3 you don't need it. Again each embassy is different and USEM is one of the easier embassy; in and out in 5 min. or 10 min tops.

Most embassy's are looking for this: EVIDENCE OF SUPPORT. You should be able to demonstrate that you will not become a public charge or be a burden on the U.S. taxpayers for financial support. A completed I-134 Affidavit of Support Form (https://www.uscis.gov/i-134) K1/K2 Interview Preparation Instructions – English (February 2014)  Page 3 of 9 with an original signature will be useful to the consular officer to evaluate your petitioner’s ability to be financially responsible for you. You should also submit your petitioner’s most recent U.S. Federal income tax return (Form 1040) and wage statements (Form W-2). Employment letters stating salaries and bank statements may be included to substantiate the I-134. Get the IRS transcript in place of the actual 1040 here: https://www.irs.gov/Individuals/Get-Transcript Use this link to determine the income levels needed https://www.uscis.gov/i-864p.

Relax. You case file is moving along at a normal speed. You are going to be fine.  There are a lot of approvals on Friday's so maybe tomorrow will be your day.

In the mean time the PSA in the Philippines is notorious for misspellings and missing information on birth certificates. You should look over your BC to make sure everything is correct as well as your passport. Now is the time to get that corrected. You might want to get a copy of your NBI to see if there are any problems with it. Again, now is a better time to get it corrected if you find something wrong. Be sure to use all your AKA's when they do the search. Make sure your passport doesn't expire any time before a year from now as this is a long process and you could be running around getting a new one at the last minute. So get it renewed if it is expiring in 2019.

Also, there is a sub-forum for the Philippines here on VJ that you should be a part of. It's a good place to read what others are experiencing which will only prepare you for your interview.
