After calling NVC today and getting the same robotic sounding statement saying that it is not recieved yet, etc... I asked for a Tier 2. She said "Why are you asking for a Tier 2?" I just said "Can I speak to a Tier 2?" She told me to hold then came back and said they were all busy so I just said thank you and hung up.

I called USCIS and asked for a Tier 2 and she gladly took down my phone number and had one call me back in about an hour. He called back and sounded very nice and knowledgeable. He told me that even though my NOA2 was on 1/25 it still did not get sent out until 2/8 to NVC. He "assumes" that I should expect it at NVC by next week. (even though he said what they are all supposed to say at first, "It can take up to 6 weeks")

I am saying all of this because every other time I was told they get sent out to NVC the same day it is approved by USCIS which seems to be incorrect.

It definitely does not get sent out the same date it is approved. There are designated shipping dates. Every two weeks as I recall....

Finally done...

I think the date you're referring to is the NVC to Embassy? They get sent every other Tuesday, supposedly.

I've been told the same thing from USCIS that they get sent the day they get approved, so it's hard to know what is true anymore. lol

I think you’re right about NVC sending out every Tuesday  or every other Tuesday but I was told from multiple phone calls (USCIS and NVC) that it’s shipped out the day of approval then takes up to 6 weeks.

Some of that is not true though.

Apparently USCIS also has a certain date that they send your case to NVC. I was told wrong many times that it gets sent the day you are approved.

If they got mailed out as soon as they were approved then everybody's case would arrive at NVC within 4-5 days. That clearly doesn't happen))) Let me dig around a bit. We have some crack folks in the Philippines forum who have been on top of this for some time. I know I read it somewhere. I am aware of the shipping dates to the Embassy. But, that also is effected by the individual embassies and their ability to take new cases and schedule interviews....

Agreed. It really ruffled my feathers today when I called to hear my approved petition has been sitting there for 3 whole weeks. Something about this whole process sounds off. Maybe they are supposed to send it when approved, but they are severely behind and playing catch up. Or maybe some adjudicators just let them collect at their desk until they have enough to take to shipping. Idk. Idk anything anymore lol I'm burnt out of thinking.

I blame USCIS. lol They feed you the crack of a NOA2 then shun you for weeks or months until you hear from NVC. 😴😂

Haha! In all honesty us (taxpayers) pay for all of this and then the petition, etc... Of course it may take some time and this is a “privilege” for our fiancés but we do pay these people to do the job. It would be nice to be paying the people that answer the phone to give an honest answer to say the least :)

Exactly! Or at least coherent lies across the board. lol I feel like if we are gonna have to deal with lies at least agree on the lie and everyone say the same thing 😂😫

So i've got another question about the supporting evidence that we attach along with the I-134 form.

image.png.579465da6e722215cfd3d3874f4b6adc.png

Does Item 2 from the above list mean that we need to present each deposit from each month? or just the total amount in general for the past year?

Add each of the months together during the past year of what was deposited in the account. So you would add total deposits from January, total deposits from February, total deposits made for March so and so forth but you start with the month one year ago from the month you will do your interview in. So if the interview is March 2019 then you will begin the process to determined the total amount deposited for the past year with March of 2018.

No one with ANY CETAINTY can tell you when USCIS sends to NVC. It's never been divulged nor posted in the five years I have been here when the USCIS sends other then what they tell you on the phone and that is daily.

NVC ships every other Tuesday and that's been confirmed hundred's of times over the past 5-6 months.

I often wonder why this discussion comes up. What every you find out is not going to change anything. But, it's your time and your dime so knock yourself out. :D

They do not give you the answer your looking for because they are not wanting a confrontation which only waste their time. Even a congress person can't get your file to move any faster then it will move.

I just called USCIS to ask when my case was actually shipped out and they said it was January 28th. My receipt date notice is January 25th so who knows if that’s even true😩 i feel like every person i talk to tells me something different

You’re right. Problem to me is the tier 1 from NVC and USCIS says it is shipped the day it is approved. That is not correct.

My fiance (the beneficiary) has moved since we filed the I-129F,.Obviously she will put her up to date address on the DS-160. But once the embassy receives our case, do I need to call them and tell them to update the address? Or do I not need to do anything in regards to her new address?

I blame USCIS. lol They feed you the crack of a NOA2 then shun you for weeks or months until you hear from NVC. 😴😂

LOL..............I LOVE this one.....especially that "feed you the crack" bit.
