Sigh. Called NVC again and they still haven't received our case. I know I'm just being impatient. I just have a hard time waiting. I refuse to call USCIS anymore because everyone I've talked to has given me different information and the people at the NVC are so nice. I was hoping we'd be in the February 19th batch, but it's starting to look like it'll be the beginning of March. Our NOA2 date is January 26th according to the paper, but January 28th according to the people on the phone at USCIS.

Mine took 23 days (NOA2 Jan 11) to get to NVC and two days later to assign a case number. I feel your pain. You are still within the 6 weeks range of them getting the case so try not to go mad yet haha.

I'm definitely not upset or anything and I'm totally understanding that it take time! I've just been really optimistic about it being in the February 19th batch and I'm getting nervous that it might not happen! It'll be okay either way, I just wanted to vent a bit of frustration!

After calling NVC today and getting the same robotic sounding statement saying that it is not recieved yet, etc... I asked for a Tier 2. She said "Why are you asking for a Tier 2?" I just said "Can I speak to a Tier 2?" She told me to hold then came back and said they were all busy so I just said thank you and hung up.

I called USCIS and asked for a Tier 2 and she gladly took down my phone number and had one call me back in about an hour. He called back and sounded very nice and knowledgeable. He told me that even though my NOA2 was on 1/25 it still did not get sent out until 2/8 to NVC. He "assumes" that I should expect it at NVC by next week. (even though he said what they are all supposed to say at first, "It can take up to 6 weeks")

I am saying all of this because every other time I was told they get sent out to NVC the same day it is approved by USCIS which seems to be incorrect.

My fiance (the beneficiary) has moved since we filed the I-129F,.Obviously she will put her up to date address on the DS-160. But once the embassy receives our case, do I need to call them and tell them to update the address? Or do I not need to do anything in regards to her new address?

Yes I am in the same situation. I would like to know the answer to this question too!

My NOA2 was also 1/25 so this is good to know! Most likely mine was on that batch too since NVC hasn't received it yet as of Monday.

So I just called USCIS and spoke to Tier 2 and she said there's no record of it even been sent out yet. 😕 I really wasn't expecting that at all. At this rate, we will probably miss the March 5th shipment from NVC.

I don't think they always know what they're talking about. You'll almost definitely make the March 5th shipment, but the 19th, maybe not. It'll be okay!

Thank you! It was just not what I was expecting to hear lol it caught me off guard and I needed to vent. Hopefully they send it this week, it arrives by next week and they assign a case number right away.

Wishful thinking lol 😝

So i've got another question about the supporting evidence that we attach along with the I-134 form.

image.png.579465da6e722215cfd3d3874f4b6adc.png

Does Item 2 from the above list mean that we need to present each deposit from each month? or just the total amount in general for the past year?
