NVC received my case today!  Yesterday USCIS tier 2 told me it's been in the process of shipping since Feb 5 but was still at the CSC.

Today the NVC has it.  Glimmer of hope for Feb 19 shipment.

NOA2: Jan 22

NVC received: Feb 12

No case # yet.

Outstanding news!!   Congrats.    Sure, good prospects for Feb 19......others here have made it in a week.

I can't call NVC anymore.  Guess I'll have to wait until tomorrow : (

Just found this message on their contact page:

Due to inclement weather, the NVC will be closing at 3:30 PM on Tuesday, February 12, 2019.  We will reopen at 9:00 AM on Wednesday, February 13, 2019.

Hello @Greenbaum do you have p3 and 4 for Colombia? I'd really appreciate it.

My case was transferred from Caracas to Colombia without even asking for it 😐 I just asked for info and I was transferred anyways. Now I have to start again.  Please help!

Holy smokes!!    I'd planned to call today as well!    Not only bad for getting confirmation, but assume that takes out an entire shift of processing as well !!      I just refuse to start calibrating to March 5.......yet !!     😏

I sent it last Wednesday. It takes about a week for them to answer. I choose to believe that they haven't yet processed it when I called at 7 am because if they didn't provide the same information as AskNNC does, that would be even more sad 🙈

I think you've got a great strategy there.   I figured we're close, I know they take about a week to respond, so I sent an AskNVC inquiry last Friday morning.  I considered sending one every day............ seems I'd get a daily update that way.

It's not the end of the world. Most embassy ask for a few of the same documents. Here you go.

After you get your case number from NVC it would be a good idea if you were to connect with the VJ sub forum for all things dealing with the US Embassy in Colombia and they will answer your questions for the processing of your visa from their personal experience. Link:

http://www.visajourney.com/forums/forum/96-mexico-latin-south-america/

Get the US Embassy Colombian K-1 Packet 3 (P3) at  https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B7hB3bl9Snfkb0NiMVFUd2JsVjA/view  as this is your bible needed to complete and receive your visa. The required documents are included and use the P3 as a check list. Once you have completed or gathered the required documents you'll be ready for your interview. If it is not on the Embassy letter, it probably is not needed.

Last but not least, READ the pages on the US Embassy website for your country so that you are up to speed.

https://co.usembassy.gov/visas/

One last place to check for information would be the VJ Wiki found here: http://www.visajourney.com/wiki/index.php/Special:AllPages and here http://www.visajourney.com/consulates/index.php?ctry=Colombia&cty=Bogota

Ppl doing their vaccinations in Columbia can do them with anyone not connected to the approved medical center where  your exam will take place saving you a lot of money. Be sure to get a receipt that states every single vaccination that you received. See list below that are required vaccinations. Then during your medical present the receipt for the vaccinations to the Doctor and ask that they be transposed to the DS-3025 and marked COMPLETE! Very important that they are marked complete. You will use this document once you are married and filing your AOS package.

Ah, ya think THAT'S why ??     😁

Obviously it's not the sole reason but it adds to the manpower requirements and that takes time to allocate which means you may or may not get through in a quicker manner. But hey believe what you want. That's the bee in my bonnet.

Here is what I have. I don't have a note concerning that aspect for SK Embassy but I recommend using the link below and ask in the forum for SK and I would send a email and ask about the I-134. Petitioner only needs copy of the supplemental tax/paystub/bank statements etc. I don't have a copy of the P2 from SK could you send me a copy via PM here on VJ? I will use it to help others?

Absolutely it would, but not likely as much as the volume of phone calls from applicants trying to figure out the status of applications.   A private entity with similar issues would look at some sort of system whereby applicants could access a system to determine the status, rather than throwing enormous manpower into a call center.
