If you're talking about the averages reported here at VisaJourney ( https://www.visajourney.com/content/k1historical ), it's including weekends and holidays (part of why it's going down a little now that we're past the winter holidays, mostly).

However, note that the current average total time from NOA2 to embassy/consulate is step 3 + step 4 + step 5 (so 47 days as I write this).

Ours took exactly 64 from noa2 to received at consulate. I don't even look at the averages anymore (it's just depressing how much faster some cases moved compared to ours for no reason lol)

And the person behind you that filed before you is depressed because you are moving faster then they. So where does it stop. Who gets to be first. What is fair. Hard questions to answer but something to think about.

You right.  For a minute I was getting kind of bummed out looking at how others were processed faster than mine.  I stopped looking at the averages

can i ask, being completely over prepared for all eventualities at the interview, my fiance and i are preparing the affidavit of support, the i-134 form we tried to download said it expired in November 2018 so we have filled out the i-864, is this correct or should we be filling out the i-134 even with the expiry date on the top?

That is the current form, and the one you should use. The 1- 864 is for adjustment of status.

is there somewhere i can download the form that doesn't have the expiry date in November?

This is the only one we can seem to find and it says it expires on November 30th 2018: https://www.uscis.gov/sites/default/files/files/form/i-134.pdf

Has anyone not needed the i-134? My step mom works for an immigration lawyer and she said she's never seen a case where they had one. But I see so many people on here who do need it, so I'm just curious.

For us, we're just doing it, in case they ask for it. I'm that type of person who likes to be prepared for every eventuality

Thailand Packet 3 instructions require the I-134.   Personally, cannot imagine any legal scenario where the case would not require a means of non-government support.

Not every case requires it. And not all embassies require it. The i-864 is always required for adjustment of status, but the i-134 isn't.
