would screenshots of viber chats showing the calls we made through the app be admissible? as it is now i have literally every conversation since we were together and using the app archived and it comes out to roughly 35000 messages and about 600 pages since April with video chats and video calls and just regular audio calls at least 3-4 times every week

i heard they dont really like chat logs, but the app screenshots actually time and date them

What a lot of people do is screen shot 2-3 chats per month. Showing the date in each. You dont have to do your entire relationship. Just enough to prove your still in a relationship since your filed the petition. And 2-3 screenshots of your chatting regardless of what app should take care of that. And i also screen shot some of our video calls and a few of our call log times showing the date and length of the calls. 600 pages is way to much. 1 page per month since you mailed the petition should be plenty.

I think that's fine. That's what we used. We also put like 3-4 chats and that's it. We also barely text, we mostly call through Viber and WhatsApp.

we have a tendency to text each other a lot. as in we are constantly texting while we are at work. its why we have so many messages

i will say viber is the greatest thing since sliced bread

I'm way overthinking this...but is the "employers address" on the I-134 the address that's written on the W-2 ( I think that's the headquarters address), or is this asking for the address that I'm actually working at ?

I put the address that i work at.

Just fyi, I got my case number today from the NVC.  The woman on the phone was super sweet, and told me that it actually arrived on the 6th, and is now processed.  My NOA2 date was January 16th.

I received an email from the NVC last night to both myself and petitioner. States the petition was sent to London and attaches a file containing case number, petition number, both our names and where the interview will be held. Message in file:

“The National Visa Center (NVC) received your fiancé (e)’s/spouse’s approved I-129F petition from U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS). NVC will now forward the petition to the U.S. Embassy or Consulate in London, Great Britain And Northern Ireland. Please note that the transfer process can take several weeks. The U.S. Embassy or Consulate will contact your fiancé (e)/spouse when they are ready to process his or her petition.”

It already arrived in London yesterday and the CEAC set my case to Ready. 😆 NVC are just a tad slow

Also the email was not received in response to an AskNVC question but as I had asked them before to update my file with both our emails previously it did get sent to us both.

Anyone else submitting their signed I-134 Affidavit of Support as as scanned, signed, document to Fiancee for the interview?
I'd read some old back and forth about 'you need originals' vs 'you can send scans' and opted to just sign the form in blue ink and have her print in color just to add emphasis that the document was signed non-electronically.

Also, I'm curious. With sending IRS Tax Transcripts and W-2s and the like, do y'all remove/black out your Social Security Numbers? I figure this stuff should be safe with the U.S. Embassy but you never know. I hear that at the CFO, W-2s/Tax Transcripts might also be needed so I feel I should just blacken them out.

Our case now shows “Ready” which I know means time to set interview- but how? Where do I go to get interview set up with the Swedish Embassay? Do we wait until they reach out with dates? If not what website do we set our time? Thanks!

Is copy of I-129 needed at the interview? Or should fiancé also bring more evidence of the fact that we communicated after we submitted the petition ?

Also, are copies of I-134 required ?

Thank you !

My fiancee is bringing three folders.   1.  I-129f application.   2.   Complete set of Packet 3 documents.   3.   Relationship Evidence book.   Additionally, she will have her passports and her medical examination documents.

The packet 3 instructions require that you mail copies of certain docs like passport, birth cert, name change, marriage, divorce, kids, etc, and bring the originals of those documents to the interview.   Packet 3 requires you to mail originals of other docs like the I-134, DS-160 app, bank receipt for visa payment, etc.   While not required, she is taking copies of these originals to the interview.   Packet 3 also says bring the relationship evidence and medical docs.

While Packet 3 does not require applicants to bring a copy of 1-129f, we figured best to just bring everything that was submitted.    Specific to your question, we included a short summary of relationship evidence with I-129f, (although it was not required).   We have a much more complete relationship evidence book that we prepared for the interview.   Bring a copy of what you submitted with i129f, or more if you think it's necessary.    In our case, the original I-134 is submitted with Packet 3 originals.    We included a copy of the i-134 in her set of Packet 3 documents that she will take to the interview.

I called NVC at about 2pm EST today.  Number ending in 0888. I spoke with Nadine -who has answered the phone all three times I've called. Anyone else speak to her every time?!

They still don't have my case.

NOA2 - Jan 22.

NOA Jan 18.   Not arrived as of yesterday.   Called USCIS......was told they sent is on Feb 6.      You're close.   The more important question for us......will we make the Feb 19th NVC mailing to the embassies.    I'm saying we will, which means your embassy will have the case by Feb 25.    😁     The power of positive thinking.

I think you're good with that.    We included small text samples by month.  Whatsapp also allows export of text messages which I did to Excel and then made a summary of "average texts per day".  Like you, I came up with thousands.   Averaged about 90 per day.   Based on what I've heard, they will not likely look at this evidence.....but of course, you have to have it.  I told her "Carry the Relationship Evidence folder on top."

I sent originals, but heard that some embassies will accept scanned copy.   I did not ask, however, the Bangkok embassy is outstanding in terms of responses.  1-2 days.  So you could clarify with your embassy.

I sent the tax transcript, rather than a copy of w-2 and my original tax return.   They automatically remove your SSN, and they abbreviate your name and address on the tax transcript.  They are extremely cautious.   The i-134 still requires all that confidential info, including the SSN.   Course, so does the I-129F.    Hate that.   I mailed the copy without the SSN, and will have my fiancee fill that in.

By the way, best thing you can do to protect yourself from identify theft is to put a freeze on all your credit reports.   You sound like someone who is careful.
