Call nonstop and you’ll get through. It took me three times !

Anecdotally, it's best to call them around opening (7 am US/Eastern) or closing (midnight US/Eastern). When I was calling them (in December), I called mid to late Friday afternoon US/Pacific (so 5-8 pm Eastern) and was on hold for a little over half an hour both times.

good info Olichka.   So the latest information I have is that our case was sent to NVC on Feb 6........19 days after NOA2.   NVC indicated today that they do not yet have it.

Interestingly, USCIS has informed me on separate occasions that they automatically send all applications immediately upon approval, while other times they informed me that it had not been sent.   Today, the Tier 1 told me it is automatically sent, then she elevated me to a Tier 2 who told me it was mailed on Feb 6.   Tier 2 further informed me, that a letter, confirming the Feb 6 date, was also sent to me.   😁    I am so curious about a letter confirming they sent our application to NVC.....never heard of that.   Hopefully, NVC will get it in time for Feb 19 to Embassy.

If it takes a week, like mine did, you should make it for the next shipment!

I feel like all tier 1 does is just misinform people, instead of connecting them o tier 2 when they don’t know the answer to something 🤷🏼‍♀️

Agree based on some of the turnarounds I've seen.   We're actually not in any huge rush, but it's fun to watch the pace.

Wow, a minute to get through?    I've just been reading while I wait, but I just may have to try the early method.

I've been simply sending emails through the NVC website.   It's a 5 day turnaround, but they've answered both of my inquiries.   Have either of you rec'd email notification of the NVC receipt/case number or does it pretty much require the call?

If you call in the morning though, they might tell you they don’t have it. That’s what happened to me. They had it around 11when I called, but not in the morning.

But since the wait is only a minute, you might as well try.. you never know !😂

Well i dont know the deal with these emails.... I still haven't received it.. but my case is "ready" and the packet already arrived and was signed for at my embassy. My medical is on monday and i doubt im receiving an email this weekend. But atleast others have told me that if you dont have the email/letter from NVC they will still let you do the medical with a screen shot of the case "ready" page.

Is copy of I-129 needed at the interview? Or should fiancé also bring more evidence of the fact that we communicated after we submitted the petition ?

Also, are copies of I-134 required ?

Thank you !

Ive never read of anyone being asked for their 129f at the interview, though a lot of people do take it. Its good for the beneficiary to have to review leading up to the interview. but it isn't required to bring. Proof of ongoing relationship is sometimes requested at the interview. and this can include the communications you've mentioned as well as any photos you may have taken together with subsequent visits, or video chat screen shots etc. You don't need a copy of the I134 or the supporting documents. One is enough, they dont always ask for it, if they do I'm not sure if they keep it or not. But if they do keep it, it doesn't have anything in it that wouldn't be to hard to just print more of it you ever needed them again. Also i just noticed your embassy is in Ukraine... my answer is speaking from the process in the philippines, im not sure of what they could or most likely ask for in the Ukraine. But i hope my answer helps.

Hi!.. I have a few questions!

The NVC shipped our case to the ambassy in San José, Costa Rica on tuesday and it was delivered today according to the DHL tracker.

My questions are how long does it take for embassies to process the package and make the shipping of the packet 3?

Also, how common is for embassies to contact you to your phone number?.. The question is because I recently lost my phone and I couldn't get my old phone number back (the one that I put on the I-129F) and I don't know if that would be a problem if the embassy or the company in charge of the shipping of my package try to contact me.

Your knowledge will be of much help!

would screenshots of viber chats showing the calls we made through the app be admissible? as it is now i have literally every conversation since we were together and using the app archived and it comes out to roughly 35000 messages and about 600 pages since April with video chats and video calls and just regular audio calls at least 3-4 times every week

i heard they dont really like chat logs, but the app screenshots actually time and date them

RoC sent 10/30/21

NOA 11/16/21

Check Cashed 11/18/21

Biometrics Waived 01/19/2022

I think that's fine. That's what we used. We also put like 3-4 chats and that's it. We also barely text, we mostly call through Viber and WhatsApp.
