I think I misunderstood the first post that says "Update Your Email" at the AskNVC site.  I didn't ask a specific question and instead just listed our emails out in the field to ask a question because I thought I was just "updating" them.  Anyway, that was 2 weeks ago and I never heard anything from them.  Do you think I should go back in and ask a specific question, like "Have you received my case from USCIS?"  Or should I just continue to call?  Was what I did a way of "updating" our emails?  Or will they just ignore that altogether since it wasn't a question?

Thanks!

Hey, they might just ignore it but they did answer my first message that my case had been received and all I said was “No questions. Just would like to have this email added to my NVC file for when updates come in. Thank you!”

It does no harm to send another message and they might respond in a week. In the message box just ask for your case number if it has been assigned. If you want a response sooner I would just call them  :)

I apologize for asking this question since I'm sure it's been asked before...

But what is the phone number for NVC that everyone is calling to get their case number?

I looked on their website but I'm not sure which one to use 🤦🏼‍♀️

Thanks in advance!!

The 1st post on this thread gives 2 telephone numbers for the NVC

Hey guys. I have an NOA2 of January 28th. I emailed the embassy in Tegucigalpa Honduras where my fiancé will interview. They said his police certificates do not need to be translated, but USCIS said that they will need to be translated. Any thoughts or advice?

I called NVC at about 2pm EST today.  Number ending in 0888. I spoke with Nadine -who has answered the phone all three times I've called. Anyone else speak to her every time?!

They still don't have my case.

NOA2 - Jan 22.

I guess I'll wait until a few more of the people with NOA2 close to mine report their case has been received.

That USCIS is as slow as molasses in January.

I just tried calling NVC and there was an automated voice saying due to a large amount of calls they're receiving, the customer service is too busy to take any more calls. They said to try calling again later 🤷🏼‍♀️ 😂 🤦🏼‍♀️

Call nonstop and you’ll get through. It took me three times !

NVC received my case !

I called this morning and they said they didn’t have it, called 4 hours later and it’s there !

It it was mailed from USCIS on Feb 1st, so it took exactly a week.

NOA2: Jan21

good info Olichka.   So the latest information I have is that our case was sent to NVC on Feb 6........19 days after NOA2.   NVC indicated today that they do not yet have it.

Interestingly, USCIS has informed me on separate occasions that they automatically send all applications immediately upon approval, while other times they informed me that it had not been sent.   Today, the Tier 1 told me it is automatically sent, then she elevated me to a Tier 2 who told me it was mailed on Feb 6.   Tier 2 further informed me, that a letter, confirming the Feb 6 date, was also sent to me.   😁    I am so curious about a letter confirming they sent our application to NVC.....never heard of that.   Hopefully, NVC will get it in time for Feb 19 to Embassy.

I'm hoping we make it on time for Feb 19th 😂
