Congrats to everyone getting that sweet status change to In Transit.   Question from one of the laggards......  when calling NVC for case number, there are two numbers listed.....(603) 334-0700 and 603-334-0888.     0700 is showing for immigrant visa, and 0888 is showing for non-immigrant.   Anyone know if we can call either number ?

In the opening post on this thread, the master tells us that you can use either one.  I have called both. The first one listed is who happened to give me information that I wanted.  Just my experience 😉

Right, both are listed on Greenbaum's intro, NVC website makes a distinction so thought I'd inquire.   I could not get through on 0700, so called the non-immigrant line..........didn't matter, have not yet rec'd it from USCIS.

Interestingly, Tier 2 at USCIS told me today "they go out automatically, but NVC takes up to 6 weeks to process".   NVC rep says "USCIS can take up to 6 weeks to get it to us."    LOL !!!  Gotta love it.   18 days and counting......

It’ll come soon, according to averages.  That’s no consolation 🤨

Many thanks Mekulisch!!    yep, 23 days is the average.   We may blow past that number if USCIS did not even send it yet.  The Tier 1 people said it's not been sent, Tier 2 said it's automatic.   I think all most of us want is the correct information............ok, and maybe a close second is the visa approval.  😁    We got the NOA2 in a blazing 136 days, so this extended wait is likely to make up for that.

VJ has educated me to know that the next batch leaves NVC on 19th, so very hopeful to make that date.
