We received a hard copy of NOA2 on 26th of January but it says it's valid from 18th. I called NVC today but they say they haven't received it still. I'm getting a bit nervous since I see people with similar timelines who already got their numbers or at least had NVC receive it. Should I panic or not yet? :)

Also, I tried that USCIS contact number, but I can't end up talking to an actual person. It just keeps redirecting me to various options.

Mine took 17 days. I think in an earlier post on this thread someone did the math and the average was 22-23 days from NOA2 date. You are right at 20 days based on the 18th..I would call every 2 or 3 days. There is really nothing you can do to speed it along.  That is the bad thing about this process. Most of the time you feel absolutely helpless....

Finally done...

Yeah, helpless is definitely the word to describe the way I feel now :D I get more and more nervous each time I call. I'll try them once again on Thursday/Friday. Fingers crossed that it will be updated then. I was hoping that they would at least receive it. It gets my vivid imagination into scenarios where it was forgotten and not sent.

Btw, I did manage to get a person from USCIS to talk to me. But she can't tell me any information without having my fiance on the line. Weird.

I have never heard that.  Next time you call ask to speak to a Tier 2 rep

Hi! I was wondering where do you guys check the status of your case? can you only check when the NVC gives you a number?

https://ceac.state.gov/CEACStatTracker/Status.aspx?eQs=o/iS8zDpeAKjMWCuebHqOw==

yeah you need to be assigned a case number by NVC to track it on there

I just got the email from the NVC saying that it has completed the processing of the petition and forwarded it to the Embassy.  Now I can get the medical done at St. Lukes.  I can print out this email in lieu of waiting for the letter in the mail.

I haven't gotten the email yet. Only the CEAC site updated to show "in transit" but soon as we get the email. that's the last page we need to print and were 100% ready for the medical and the interview. ^_^ already scheduled for next week. So exciting. If everything goes smooth she can be here the last week of February ^_^

That's what I want to know as well. Do we still have a shot of getting our cases sent to the embassy today? 🙏

I cant say for sure. However I know the packets have not "left" the nvc yet. They will be on their way tomorrow. That's when we will be able to track them. As for today I'm unsure if they are left in a mail room waiting for pick up. or if they depart tomorrow to be dropped at the DHL facility. But I know DHL gets them at their Boston Facility tomorrow afternoon.

I was surprised I got the email but I do see the email was also a reply from an email I sent them.  It also has the "priority date".  If everything goes smoothly I'm hoping we can be in the US by the end of March or very beginning of April.  I still have several TVs to sell, a car, motorbike, electronics, etc...I still have work here to be done, lol
