Called USCIS. They said my petition was mailed to the NVC on Feb 1st.

My NOA2 is: Jan 22nd ( 21st on hard copy)

Maybe this will help anyone whose NOA2 date is similar :)

Olichka, what phone number did you use to call? and was the wait long?

I have informed delivery and my NOA2 was supposed to be in last Monday's mail. Is there any information on there that's necessary to move along in the process? I know it's required at the time of AOS, but that there are ways to go around it. USCIS mailed it, but seems like USPS lost it between the sorting facility and my mailbox.

I believe you need the actual paper copy for AOS, if I'm not mistaken. You can try calling USCIS and have them send you a new one.

I was concerned that my RFE had been misdelivered. When I called they said they would not send out a copy of any documentation until 30 days had passed. I imagine since it has only been about a week their NOA2 is in the mail.  The more I look into someone getting a replacement NOA2 the more problematic it seems....It is not necessary for your interview and there are ways around it for AOS (VJ search).

Finally done...

Yeah, mine was definitely sent by USCIS, because I get informed delivery and there was a scanned image of it supposed to be arriving. Yeah I saw that too there are ways to get around it. Just wondering if it had any numbers I needed, but guess not. I'll see if it magically turns up or if I can request another one to be sent.

I was on hold for about 30 minutes, and spoke to tier 2.

This morning tier 1 told me it want sent out, and I doubt they even looked.

So I would suggest to speak to tier 2 😊

So our USCIS Approval was 01/04/2019 and I called NVC 2 weeks Later. They gave me my case number and told me it had just been entered on the Friday 18th of January. Since that day was a Friday and the Following Monday was MLK holiday I think that delayed our case and caused us to miss out because when NVC mailed out cases to consulates on 01/22 Our case was NOT one of the ones sent.

So we are now waiting for the next mail out date on the 5th of Feb. I'm super anxious though going through all this waiting.

I just got off the phone with NVC and the lady just said "The Case is still here with us and will be mailed out soon and when its sent out you will get an email" I tried to probe and ask how "soon" is "soon" and she wouldn't budge.

I am really hoping our case gets sent out tomorrow to the Sydney, Australia Consulate. Just looking for some re-assurance, does anyone know what the odds are that our case will be one of the ones sent out tomorrow??

So is it safe to assume, everyone who got their case number before last week, will be forwarded to the embassy tomorrow?
