NVC Shipped Visa to Embassy Today

I had missed the packages going out from NVC last Tuesday and was patiently waiting for our application to go out on Tues, Feb 5th. From what all I have read here, they only send them out every other Tuesday but seems ours was shipped out today, a full week early.

Received an email from NVC today stating our application had been sent out to Guyana today. When I checked status at CEAC, it shows as READY.

Curious.

NOA2: January 2nd

NVC Received: January 18th

NVC Assigned Case Number: January 22nd

Left NVC: January 29th

You can always call to confirm when it was shipped out. :) Would be nice if they did do a shipment today!

I just called and they gentleman I spoke with said it was actually mailed out yesterday. Maybe they just like to change things around to keep us all guessing? LOL

Is the NVC CEAC site working for everyone? Or is it just me it won’t let me type in the captcha code. Is there a time that is best to check case status??

If you are on PC, hold down shift key, then hit F5, see if it works then. Or try opening incognito tab and trying it in there.

Congrats...........and very interesting indeed!    I ran the DHL hack for every day from January 20 to January 29, and it does not show up.   So maybe Cuba does not go DHL, so not subject to the every other week thing.    That is some blazing fast NVC turnaround.   Congrats again, and get that Packet 3 sent!    Sweet!!

Oh, your profile shows Cuba, but you mentioned Guyana.   I did the same DHL search for Guyana, and the only one I found was for British Guyana, and it went on the normal Tuesday shipment.   That arrived on Jan 28.

Thanks! Since Cuba Consulate doesn't process visas except for emergencies, it's going to Guyana (Georgetown).

I tried DHL as well. Hopefully they didn't send it on like an oil tanker or something. Haha!

well, it's my understanding that "ready" means it's ready at the embassy.   So possibly yours did go Feb 22, and arrived yesterday, which would make sense if it's "ready" status.

I appreciate you checking into things. Very strange regarding NVC. Thanks again!

I love USCIS. Having approved our petition 1 month ago, not ever notifying us, never ever sending us any update today they emailed me for the very first time. Please note our case is interview ready at the Embassy since Jan 24th....Jan 2nd must have been the day they shipped it to the NVC
