Try Calling USCIS and asked when your case was shipped. Maybe it is not sent out as yet.

There is no reason to call USCIS as they will inform you with status updates especially when you have been approved through other means like mail and website. I understand that you want your case and interview to be complete. But calling is not going to move your file through the system any faster. So you are wasting your time and USCIS's time. This is just my opinion and not necessarily the opinion of management. It's still a free country and you can do what ever you desire.

Hi!

Does anyone know;

1) if tax returns can simply be printed from IRS' website?

2) If my income is enough, should I still claim my house and car? Does that require me to send titles? I have a mortgage and car loan.

3) Is it mandatory to send bank statements?

4) I receive alimony and child support. Should I bother to add that to my affidavit of support?

I'm pretty sure all these questions have been answered at some point at VJ history. I just couldn't go through it all. If anyone has time, I'd appreciate it.

When I did my first K-1 I just used paper copies along with the W-2s. I am going to do the same thing this time. If your income meets the criteria you don't have to provide anything else...

Finally done...

My NOA2 was 01-14-19. On 01-21-19 I sent an email to ask NVC as suggested in this thread. I received a response on 01-28-19 saying that they have not received my case yet 🙂 I will call on on 01-31-19 and probably every three days until I get the MNL number...

Finally done...

Here is an updated analysis of NVC receipt time based on timeline data from VJ.   Unfortunately, the system appears to allow only 100 records, and not all K-1 filer records, or we may have a more complete picture.   So based on a 100 record sample size of K-1 filers who rec'd NOA2 in January 2019:

  • 20 of 100 have recorded NVC receipt in an average of 15 days.  1 case has already been sent to the Embassy.
  • 80 of 100 have not recorded an NVC receipt date, and on average have waited 11 days so far.
  • 10 of the 80 who have not recorded have been waiting 20 days or more.

Keep in mind that some of the 80 may not have updated their VJ timeline with the NVC receipt date.

Q4 Required for all countries where you have lived for more than 6 months since the age of 16 and any country where you have been arrested, even if you were not resident there.  U.S. police certificates are not required.  Police certificates from certain countries are unavailable or are obtained directly by your Embassy (rarely does your embassy execute this step).  Fingerprints are required for certain countries.

https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/us-visas/Visa-Reciprocity-and-Civil-Documents-by-Country.html

Here is a copy of the P3 letter that I have for your country. You can start using it to prepare but once you get the one from your embassy review it for final document submission.

You should be over in the sub-forum for your region/country. Go up to the blue ribbon, select forums, then scroll down 3/4 of the page and find your sub-forum. Begin asking questions of others who are going through the same embassy as you. Someone from Germany, Spain or Syria is not going to know what you should do next because each embassy has different requirements.

Thanks for all your help!!!

Following the 23 day period if it's accurate, NVC will receive my case two days after it's 2/19 shipment. 😕 so most probably I'll have to wait till 3/5.

NVC Shipped Visa to Embassy Today

I had missed the packages going out from NVC last Tuesday and was patiently waiting for our application to go out on Tues, Feb 5th. From what all I have read here, they only send them out every other Tuesday but seems ours was shipped out today, a full week early.

Received an email from NVC today stating our application had been sent out to Guyana today. When I checked status at CEAC, it shows as READY.

Curious.

NOA2: January 2nd

NVC Received: January 18th

NVC Assigned Case Number: January 22nd

Left NVC: January 29th

Maybe they just updated the website but it could have gone with last shipment? It would be neat if it did!
