It takes a little time for DHL to update their system. I have notice that this shipment is a little slower to update, but I don't know why.

Hmmm... 3 pieces to Ukraine yesterday... still waiting for NVC to respond to my AskNVC enquiry. Fiance will call them early Feb if nothing happens

That means that their were 4 cases shipped which yours was 1 of 4.

I checked my NVC status and it still shows at NVC. Little bit disappointed ☹️ 

If you check ceac Thursday (USA Time) and you still show at NVC then you are looking at next shipping date.

I called today before lunch and they hadn't received it yet. 2 weeks ago I didn't think making appointments would be to difficult as the next appointment was on 27 Jan... but then all of a sudden all of February was booked and last week the next appointment was 7 marhc.. and now its 14 march. So even though we were so excited about NOA2... the excitement was short lived once I realized NVC can take a much longer time than expected.. Before, I wasn't aware of them only sendning them out every 2 weeks.. so that delays it a bit. And now the appointments are being booked almost 2 months out.. so the stress level is going back up lol

USEM just went to a new appointment system and I think they will find it will bite them in the south end. Too many applicants and now not enough appointment slots.

Just spoke to NVC and was assigned a Case Number yesterday, January 22nd. 

 

It looks like we just missed the shipment out yesterday. 

 

Also, the main number (603-334-0700) keeps saying all agents busy and to call back later. 

 

Here is a number for non-immigrant visa applicants: 603-334-0888

 

I was only on hold for about 5 minutes before getting through to an agent.

If you want to know someone timeline or when they received their NOA2 you can look in the left column of their recent post and at the bottom is says "timeline". Select it and it takes you straight to their timeline. This way your not posting, when is the or that. BTW here is a link to their timeline.

Looking at timelines, 6 people have put that theirs was in this shipment:

 

So some of them must be wrong, and there's a chance that ours isn't in this shipment. At first glance, it looks like maybe Joe & Mischelle have an incorrect departure date?

 

If I call the NVC in the morning, will they tell me whether my case has been shipped?

It seems to be extremely rare (ok I see one exception there) that a case would ship the day after / day of a case is received / a case # is assigned. You'll be in the next shipment (and I've accepted that we will be waiting too). Also, many people who are in this process are not on VisaJourney so I wouldn't do comparisons of packets shipped vs. people on VJ. I understand the numbers seem weird, but I wouldn't look into it too much.

Agreed about the people who aren't on VJ! Though it would be interesting to see how many people in the process are on here, because I can't imagine getting through this without this resource.

I'm just trying to stay on top of things because of issues we've had, and as of now it could easily be an entire year between NOA1 and POE for us.

Yeah totally understand. Do you guys have a wedding booked? We booked ours already, but it's not until October
