I'm thinking they may have sent it to other people that week too.

Most likely! I doubt that it was just your interview that got canceled. Something happened, and I'm sure you aren't alone in that boat :)

Hey guys our case reach the embassy on Sunday and our case changed to ready. It’s been 4 days now and still haven’t sent packet 3. Is this normal, should I contact them or just wait. Me and my fiancé already have packet 3 and are collecting documents

It depends on the process of your embassy. If they say that you can't schedule your interview till they contact you first, you should wait (or call to see if it can speed up the process). In Moscow, we wait until we receive an email before we get access to a calendar. Here it usually takes around 2 weeks since NVC sends docs.

For anyone else interviewing at the Dublin Embassy, I was at the Mater today and found out the embassy only interview once a month, the next date is April 2nd, there’s only 45 places. If we don’t make that cut off we won’t be interviewed until some point in May 😕

I think our embassy schedules the interviews for us and as I was told they do it a week after they receive the required documents. But I thought we have to wait for them to send us packet 3 first but thanks for clarify in your other post.

Again, this doesn't apply to us. Those are immigration offices, used for different purposes. All K1s go through Embassy consulates. Please stop posting that, it is misleading and all its going to do is scare people that don't know any better.

Again, the closing of foreign immigration offices will NOT affect anyone going through the K1 process.

Amen!!! I wish that people would read and make an effort to understand the contents of what they are posting, especially from news articles. To whilly Dilly post something and yell "the sky is falling, the sky is falling" only makes those who are already jittery that much more. Thanks for stepping up to end this silliness.
