Same I have everything gathered up. Haven’t completed the DS-160 though but I think that’s for the interview step so we can leave that til it reaches the embassy. I will let you know if I end up going ahead with trying to schedule it

Same, I was gonna hold off the DS160 until Ive scheduled the interview, or is that too late? (Lol I’m questioning myself at every step! 😂)

I think we complete it before scheduling the interview but it’s not needed for the medical so we are good to hold off for now. Thanks! 😁

The DS - 160 is a document that stands alone. It does not affect anything. It does not need to be finished at the moment you receive your case number to do anything else but needs to be completed for the interview and it can be completed between case number issuance to the day before your interview. You can't use it to find any information about your case. You can't use if for anything other than for its original intent and that is for the CO to use during your interview to adjudicate your case.

If your self employed I think you need the Tax Transcript. If your working normal job that provides W2. then just the 1040 packet.

I believe the tax transcript is better either way because it provides proof of having been filed.
