That’s what Usps told me is it’s possibly sitting in Honduras waiting to go through customs... do you or anyone else know if something is airmailed does it go straight there to that country?? Or stop in other countries first?

they should have supplied you with a tracking number on the receipt from the post office.  USPS tracking is generally excellent, albeit with delays........in other words, the updates might come to your phone a few hours after the event.

Put your tracking number in this site.      https://tools.usps.com/go/TrackConfirmAction_input

Detroit is a smooth airport to go through immigration. I really like that airport and fly through there when I can..

Do you happen to have an opinion on Chicago?    I've read good things.

I’ve been tracking it but it’s said the same thing for 4 days, which is just “in transit to final destination”. I’m just worried it may be lost.

They are good at getting you through but the volume is high...like LAX. If you hit it at the wrong time it could be rough. I would allow enough time if you have a connecting flight in Chicago.

Finally done...

Yeah, does it refresh everyday?   I sent two envelopes by Priority Express with a 6 day guarantee....those moved along nicely.   Normal Priority (non Express) took about 12 days last time and got into the "in transit to final dest" loop.   If you sent it First Class...likely to take a bit longer yet.   Four days hung........probably not too bad.

That's our POE and final destination.   I have Global Entry, but would walk through with her.   They do have the kiosks for US citizens....I never paid attention to the foreign passport area.

Refreshes every day but never shows a location just “in transit”. I shipped it February 27th priority international 😩 just wondering if i need to start recreating the entire binder i sent and send it with UPS instead.

I love the kiosks. The last time at LAX we went through the kiosks and got the little piece of paper with our blurry photos. Then they made us go through the normal immigration line because the guys who collect the little pieces of paper hadn't shown up to work yet. It was 9am and swamped. I hate LAX)))

Come on Boris, don't sugar coat it.   Tell us what you really think of LAX and the Kiosks.   Well, this is why Global Entry is so sweet..........get your blurry printout, walk out to the baggage claim.   Now if they only had a way to get past the customs guys more quickly.

That same day the Global Entry person hadn't shown up yet and that line was backed up, too))) One guy said it had been like that every time he came to LAX)))

yep, it's not particularly helpful, but I think as long as it's still showing up, you're ok.  Here's my last one...........Priority Mail.......lingered in Chicago.

LOL............OK, so I guess I can believe the ORD reports as I've never experienced anything like that.   We'll go with that, or pre-clearance in Abu Dhabi if the Etihad flights work out.
