So I happened to wake up from my grizzly bear slumber exactly at the time my fiance is at the bank paying his MRV fee. So I'm like yay! He pays and I go back to sleep.  It's been 10 minutes. Theres two tellers and they are on their phone texting and showing pics of their hair 😑looks like I'll be awake another half hour now lol

Well, hopefully once that step is done, that step will be out of your hair.  :)

Well, have him take a picture of it, so in case it gets misplaced, there is a digital copy you can use to tie to DS-160, and hopefully sleep will find you again soon.

So this may have been common sense to most, but if you've already located your case on the DHL Shipper's Reference page, you can copy the number shown under "1 piece" and track it through the regular tracking option instead of putting in all the info into Shipper's Reference every time you want an update. That's basically the tracking number for that file. I know it's obvious lol but maybe someone needed to hear it 🙆‍♀️

Also, my notifications via email for tracking unfortunately are not working. I'll try to sign up for text notifications to see if it makes a difference but theres been 2 updates of progress so far and no email notifying me of it. 😕

Just copy that waybill number, and paste it into the main tracking page box.   Then bookmark it.

I signed up for the shipment notifications, but I only got one so far, and the parcel has made it three steps like yours here.  So not sure how well that's gonna work out.

I'm thinking it is because they only send certain updates not everytime it moves.

Very well could be.   I'm used to couriers that tend to give updates every move, like USPS.   Neurotic VJ people don't just want to know when it's picked up, we wanna see all this.     😁

Absolutely right.........and much easier to simply use that tracking number .   Also, agree with your notifications comment........seems if you want the full scoop, gotta go to the DHL tracking site.  I'm fine with that.   At least they tell us where it's at..........pleasant change from USCIS and NVC.    😁

We received the letter in the mail on March 5.

CEAC website says Ready. What does Ready mean?

Usually means the embassy has your case from the NVC and you're ready to move on to scheduling your interview, and everyone starts congratulating you.   But your timeline indicates that you only got your case number on March 5?    Are you sure you only got your case number on March 5?   Are you sure it did not get mailed on Feb 19 from NVC to Embassy?

Well this is pretty awesome!! Apparently it goes Ready before they have it in hand!! Ready for interview!!

@Greenbaum it says there are multiple case numbers? They are my MNL number but one ends in 01 and one in 02, have you seen this?

@DanielPlainview it may have went with ours because I just checked and my status is ready. Just jumped on a March 14th interview

Yeah, I was sitting here thinking about the process of sending cases from USCIS to NVC and then the DHLs that NVC uses to send cases out to all the embassies, and it occurred to me that this represents an incredible business opportunity for someone ........develop a method of somehow electronically transferring data from one point to another instantly.   Now of course, this would have to happen somewhere in the distant future when that sort of technology is eventually developed.   Obviously something like this could never be done in this day and age.

Though I see the tongue in cheek humor but the Philippines is now sending the "do not open envelope" electronically so when you arrive at immigration you present your passport and they pull your record up and process from there. They are one of a handful of embassy's that are doing this. Also, your file is sent electronically along with your paper file for the interview. BOTH have to be "check in" before the record is set to "ready". That's why most of us spew information that you should not expect to have your interview (you still are able to set your interview) the day after your record is set to "ready" as the CO has not had the time to review the file.
