I know I'm panicking, and I knew it would be worse once it reached my country because everything over there works the opposite of how it should haha. Thanks for the message, brings panic relief.

I've lived overseas in different countries for 16 years........and things work the opposite of how they should in every single one.    But when ya think about it, frequently the same right here in the good ole' USA!

They must all be different.   I was anticipating zero answers from Bangkok, but those guys respond immediately.   I was pretty impressed.   Although, I was asking general questions, and questions specifically regarding our case.

They were answering very quickly when I asked about documents or what not. But once I asked especially about our case number they stopped giving responses.

OK, good info.   As mentioned, same experience for general questions, but our case has not hit there yet.   Hoping all goes at least somewhat smoothly, precluding any reason to request specific info.

What is the requirement for your embassy? It depends what they require.

Have you looked through this material or found your sub-forum?

Here is thee P3 for Argentina:

Next, this is the Argentina US Embassy webpage:

This the VJ web portal

Your information, though I understand you are applying logic to your answer, there are some Embassies such as the Philippines that require a PC for every country you have lived in since 16 years old and for more then 6 months. They also are required to have a local police clearance and within their requirement neither can be older then 6 months at the time of the interview. So you made the attempt to determine his country of residence but you failed to wait for the answer and then verify it against factual information. That's where you get the questioner in trouble if he were to follow such information. So I am correcting you as you are wrong. :D In the end their is no "pad" answer he must follow the requirement from his Embassy since they have the gold they get to make the rules. Thanks.

Embassy in rio de janerio didnt mention anything like documents  shouldnt be older than 6 months.

So I am on day 35 or 36 since the approval of my noa2. and still, nvc states they have not received it. when i get to day 42(6 weeks), and they still havent received it, i am supposed to email them a copy of my noa2. then i suppose, they are going to go look for the application at that time.

does anyone know anything about this?

how the procedure works? just readying my self for the worst possible outcome. as if waiting this long for my nvc# hasn't been crappy enough.
