Does anyone know what it means if the Last Updated date of the NVC tracker changes? My petition said Ready on Feb 21st. Now it says Last Updated Feb 27th. Anyone seen that happen before? I'm curious because I still haven't been notified by the Embassy about anything, and they aren't responding my emails either about the petition.

A quick question.   I have canadain police clearance and uk as well.  That doesnt show expiry date. There is only issue date.. so i will have to get new one if my interview date passes six months ?

What is your country of Residence? if you don't live in that country where you got the police clearances then you shouldn't have to worry, it's simply stating you never committed any crimes whilst living there and you don't anymore.. anyone correct me if I'm wrong?

I know for Montreal the date change with no accompanying email to you often means your P3 has been mailed out.

When I access the tracker, I do not see any dates.     This is the site I'm using.    https://ceac.state.gov/ceacstattracker/status.aspx     Maybe you're referring to something else or maybe they start adding dates when you get to Ready status.   I did not see dates for At NVC or In Transit status'.

This is normal. Not all embassies take this long but yours does. Whenever your case is "touched", no matter the reason, your date will change. So if they are preparing the sending of your P3 letter with instructions then your case will update. There is "path" that they follow and anytime your record is opened a log of the date and time plus what took place is logged to your case. You will never see this information as no one has seen theirs. This again, is normal and your overthinking this process. Sit back relax and let the process work.

Again, excellent information there GB.   Thanks for this.   I'm sure I would have been wondering about this next week.

What is the requirement for your embassy? It depends what they require.

Let's hope so! What bugs me again is that the embassy does not answer any of my questions regarding the case.

Yes I'm using that one as well. I believe I only saw dates in the tracker once it said ready.

They must all be different.   I was anticipating zero answers from Bangkok, but those guys respond immediately.   I was pretty impressed.   Although, I was asking general questions, and questions specifically regarding our case.

I know I'm panicking, and I knew it would be worse once it reached my country because everything over there works the opposite of how it should haha. Thanks for the message, brings panic relief.

Your information, though I understand you are applying logic to your answer, there are some Embassies such as the Philippines that require a PC for every country you have lived in since 16 years old and for more then 6 months. They also are required to have a local police clearance and within their requirement neither can be older then 6 months at the time of the interview. So you made the attempt to determine his country of residence but you failed to wait for the answer and then verify it against factual information. That's where you get the questioner in trouble if he were to follow such information. So I am correcting you as you are wrong. :D In the end their is no "pad" answer he must follow the requirement from his Embassy since they have the gold they get to make the rules. Thanks.

If the panic systems return, take a deep breath and take two of these every four hours to relieve the pressure. :D Because your driving me nuts, I am going to take two also. Just like the song from the Rolling Stones "Mother's little helper". :jest:

"Kids are different today"
I hear ev'ry mother say
Mother needs something today to calm her down
And though she's not really ill
There's a little yellow pill
She goes running for the shelter of a mother's little helper
And it helps her on her way, gets her through her busy day
